You simply must stop by Maido if you like stationery stores at all. Marvel at their numerous binders, pens, madnets, sticker, erasers, cards, beautiful sheets of origami and wrapping paper, etc. I love the specialty folders. It can be pricy. It is on the far end of Santana Row with another location in Pao Alto. more

Japanese gifts 8/14/2005

I absolutely love this place for the Japanese-style stationary, gift paper, stickers and unique cards. The prices are a bit expensive, but it is worth the quality of the products. They have the mainstream animation character products and the more traditional Japanese designed products. The paper there is really beautiful. more

Imported Japanese Stationary Goods 7/30/2005

This is for all you Sanrio/other cutesy little characters addicts. This adorable stationary store sells absolutely everything. All Japanese Imported goods. An entire wall of misc. gel pens in a rainbow array of colors. Another wall of beautiful teeny sheets of stickers that serve no apparent purpose but to amuse the child inside everyone. And of course, the practical art supplies, like Japanese ink markers. Anyone in the field would know that these are of superb quality, and quite expensive. MaiDo also sells little random things like cellphone accessories, pencil bags, etc. Prices are a little steep because everything's imported from Japan, but it's not outrageous. more
