I've used Magic Plumbing twice now and each time was to fix a nasty drain clog that another plumber could not fix. I am going to use them exclusively from now on.

I had a problem with a leaking toilet. The plumber arrived when the dispatcher promised and he fixed the toilet in about 20 minutes, he also fixed a leaking faucet in the kitchen. more

For a plumber in San Francisco you don't need to look any further than Magic Plumbing in San Francisco, they are the real deal, they only do plumbing repairs that are necessary, I know you can trust them because I know the owner and he is all about making sure the customer receives the best service possible. more

The bathtub drain was clogged and I 6/11/2012

The bathtub drain was clogged and I needed to be leaving in two hours. They sent their plumber over I think his name was Frank, he was friendly cleared it and was done within 30 min. thank you Frank and I will call again. more

Overflowing toilet flood 3/28/2012

When it poured today the basement toilet bubbled. Worried I found Magic on the internet. The Owner answered and told me he will sent a plumber within 30 minutes. The toilet kept bubbling and then it just started flowing out at the peak of the rain. It has done this before only twice in ten years, it flows out the back door, it's just the basement but I do have to clean it up. The plumber Mike pulled his hose out of the truck and stopped the overflow within 20 minutes. It cost close to $400 but they cleaned the whole sewer line to the street, so I think it's worth it, Mike said it will last over a year. They were friendly, came out quickly and I paid for a good service. Will call them again. more

You Can't Go Wrong With Paul! 3/27/2012

My little sister recently moved to San Francisco and the shower in her bathroom began to leak while I was in visiting her. Not knowing who to call, I stumbled upon Magic Plumbings reviews on CitySearch and thought Id give them a try. Paul was prompt, professional, and took the time to explain the problem and the steps needed to fix it. In the end he fixed it for half of the quote I was given over the phone by a competitor! Couldnt recommend him more highly. He's a gem! He understands what customer service is all about and even wore shoe covers to ensure that he didnt track in any mud into the house. Give him a try you wont be disappointed! more

Burst Pipe in Bathroom 3/7/2012

We had a pipe burst in our bathroom so I called for service...at 7a.m. on a Sunday and the dispatch talked me through shutting off the water and they had a plumber out to us in about an hour or so. He was able to get the pipe replaced and had everything back in order in a little over an hour. Excellent work and would highly recommend Magic Plumbing for their prompt response to our service call. more

Water heater repair Burlingame Ca, Well done! 12/22/2011

Paul sent his plumber dave within 2 hours of initial contact. dave solved my problem within an hour(changed a valve for my water heater overflow problem, for which another contractor proposed a $3000 change of water heater to fix). everything is working fine now. very satisfied. more

Very straightforward and honest company. Sewer repair project was to run over budget due to factors not anticipated. However, true to their word, they honored the original quote for the work to be done. Work was completed very professionally with good quality. Would definitely recommend highly.\r more

Great customer service and reasonable price 8/24/2008

I had a major backed up drain. I called Magic Plumbing they came out within the hour. The plumber was really helpful explained the situation, gave me a price and got on with the job. Within 30 or so minutes he had the sewage relieved and all cleaned up. They also gave me a free camera inspection of my sewer. These guys are very easy to work with and I feel very comfortable trusting their recommendation. \r \r Thanks Magic more

Quality setup. I learned the hard way you get what you pay for. 2/2/2007

Fixed a kitchen drain clog a cheaper, more mom and pop setup could not. Not cheap, but prompt, well equipped, and get the job done right. Even cleaned up the floors a bit when done. Wish I had called them first recently. \r \r more

Quick Response 12/30/2004

From the first contact with their company to the scheduling and arrival of the plumber - they kept you very informed of what was going on. Frank, who was very nice, gave me options as to how to proceed once he assessed my problem. Although there price seemed high, they were very knowledgeable and offered a warranty to guarantee their service. Frank explained how they would be proceeding and again kept me up to date on what was happening and what was going to happen. I called a few other plumbers who offered 24 hour emergency service with a guaranteed hour response time - 5 hours later still no call back. Oh, one other thing, this service call was placed on a holiday weekend which made the prompt service I received even more valuable! Pros: Great Response Time, Knowledgeable, Courteous more
