SUPERB LUNCH 6/6/2004

I WAS AT MY NEPHEW'S WEDDING IN SF AND SO OUR FAMILY WENT TO SANTANA ROW FOR A VISIT. OUR PARTY OF 8 ENDED UP AT MAGGIANO'S LITTLE ITALY FOR LUNCH. WE WERE LUCKY TO HAVE A TABLE --- THEY TELL ME THAT YOU NEED TO BOOK A WEEK AHEAD AT LEAST. ANYWAY WE SAT DOWN TO A HEARTY MEAL AND IT WAS JUST SUPERB! NOT ONLY WILL WE GO BACK BUT WE WILL TELL THE WHOLE WORLD ABOUT IT. KEEP UP THE GOOD FOOD MAGGIANO'S --- WE ARE COMING FOR THE CLAMS; AND THE SAUCE!! undiscovered entertainment 5/23/2004

Great place to hang after a meal. You need a reservation at least a week ahead for the weekends, but we eat in the bar. No reservations needed, and great entertainment including a fantastic oldies jazz singer (but she looks about 20) and amazing pianist. Too bad they stop at 10. Pros: easy parking more

Good Food, Rude Maitre'd 11/8/2003

We went here last night for our anniversary. The food was good. The only complaint that I have is with the rude, snotty maitre'd. First off, when we sat down in our booth, there was some food left on the chair/booth by the previous patrons. I asked the maitre'd as he walked by if he could get someone to clean it up for us. He gave me a look like I was asking for too much. He then looked over at the mess, took a napkin from our table, wiped up the mess, and said, ""There"", and then proceeded to walk off. No apologies for the mess ... he has absolutely no idea what customer service means. more
