Lucina

While I did not have the "smooth sailing" experience others had in dealing with Lucina, their customer service from Shauna Mohr is second to none. I also first checked them out after receiving the City Editor gift cert. I chose what I thought would be wonderful heart-shaped earrings for Valentine's Day. They arrived very timely but were scarred. Now I understand handmade designs often have subtle flaws; however, these had flaws that the creator had not even bothered to paint over to match the red color of the earrings. So white scars were very obvious if you wore the earrings. I contacted Lucina and made arrangements for the return and refund to my credit card and credit of the $50 gift certificate. Ms. Mohr even went so far as to investigate the designer of the product and said that they had been removed from their collection because of several complaints. The reordering was held up on my part due to a family emergency, but both Judy's Book and Lucina were completely understanding. I did reorder another piece of jewelry, received it in a timely manner and was very satisfied with the quality. However, the gift cert credit was at first not handled appropriately; again Ms. Mohr came through in unbelieveable fashion in fact refunding all my monies for all the trouble I experienced. Few companies would have taken such care! Shauna Mohr is truly a terrific representative for Lucina! For those I know interested in handmade jewelry, I will certainly recomend Lucina. more

Lucina has some very neat, unique and interesting jewelry items including earrings, necklaces and bracelets. I went to their website after receiveing a $50 gift certificate for being a City Editor. Talk about a GREAT gift. I got a pair of earrings and I love them even more in person. Very neat and I have gotten so many comments on them and where I got them! I was very pleased with the process time as well, I got my order in less than a week! more

I have a necklace and earrings from Lucina. They are so gorgeous and unique that I get compliments every time I wear them. I love that so many times when I go to the website, there are new items. My necklace and earrings aren't even available on Lucina anymore. If you love something, you should definitely think about buying it today! Just today I noticed two more items that I want to buy, bringing my current wish list up to six, yes that is right, six items. more

I really enjoy Lucina - they have a real personal and professional way and the designs they carry are so cool. I got my mother the pomagranate dangling earrings for her birthday and she completely loved them - but the order confirmation was so quick and the shipping was almost immediate. I will definitely order from Luncina again - I wish I lived closer so that I could shop at the actual store - but the website is really great! more

It was the night before Valentines, 10 days after I ordered, and I had not yet received the necklace I ordered. I was disappointed. Especially since I was going to give it to my daughter for Valentines day when I met her for lunch at her school. I thought my plan was foiled. I sent an email to request a tracking # and find out where this is. OMG! Within 15 minutes I had a response to my email with an apology, tracking #, and a shipping refund. It looks like I should get it. I thought I would just have to change my plans when I give it to her. BUT, the designer contacted me via email, and wanted to personally hand deliver a necklace so that I could continue with my plans. I have NEVER in my life experienced customer service like this. The necklace is GORGEOUS! I'm very thrilled, and will be shopping with this company again. more

I absolutely love unique jewelry, and that's exactly what this place sells. Since I don't live in Portland, I went to the website, which is excellent. Here they sell necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and other accessories--and the great thing is that each piece is handcrafted. This isn't your run of the mill jewelry shop, these people are very talented, socially aware, and they know what they're doing. If you're looking for a unique gift for that special someone--or yourself!--this is a fabulous place to go. They ship pretty quickly. =) more
