I keep forgetting that the service at this location is so bad. At less-than-half the size of its sister locations in Los Angeles, one would think the servers could handle their tables. \r

Today's disappointing lunch break began with my party of three and I sitting patiently drinkless and menu-less for (at least) ten minutes until the manager stepped in. Another ten minutes later he finally returned with a dirty glass for my co-workers water.\r

Our visibly flustered waitress was unattentive and distracted. We waited 45 minutes for two salads and a panini, all of which were only ok.\r

It always annoys me to see servers, bussers, and yes, even the manager, chatting it up when the restaurant is really busy. Also, it was obvious we weren't the only table having problems.\r

I know Louise's is the McDonald's of Italian food but when the $50 check graced the table I found myself wishing I had eaten a Big Mac instead. At least you get what you pay for at the golden arches.\r

My previous visits have been equally as unsatisfying. If you like the food, go to the Melrose location, its bigger and nicer. \r
