My experience with Liskey's Wheel Service left me feeling angry and frustrated. I dropped my car (97 Toyota Corolla) off early on a Monday morning to have the ignition cylinder looked at because my key wouldn't turn out of the locked position anymore, so I couldn't start my car. I was told that they had to order the parts they would need to fix it from the dealership so they wouldn't be able to work on it until Wednesday. I wasn't very excited to hear that my car would take longer and cost more to fix than I had expected, but that might have been the same situation I'd have found myself in anywhere, so I gave the go ahead. \r

So Wednesday and Thursday go by with no word from Liskey's. I called Friday morning to find out when I could pick up my car, and was told that the part wouldn't be in until Monday. Nobody bothered to call me back and tell me that my car wouldn't be worked on until 5 days after the original time they gave me, because the part had been unavailable. Now I'm frustrated AND angry.\r

When I finally could pick up my car, I was horrified to find it was sluggish and made a loud banging sound when It started and continued to make clanging sounds as it was running! They tried to give it back to me like that! The mechanic said rather nonchalantly that the exhaust or some other part must have been knocked out of place while they were working on it, no big deal, we'll fix it right up for you. Did they not attempt to start my car again after they had fixed the ignition and notice that a few things were very wrong!?! \r

They fixed the clanking but didn't seem aware, or even bother talking to me about my battery, or other reasons my car was starting so sluggishly though I had never had that problem before. \r

I wouldn't recommend Liskey's to anybody who expects to get their car back in better condition after they pay to have it fixed.
