The worst you can find in Miami 6/4/2007

Hi, Cons: Overpriced, obnoxious owner, carppy food more

A Francophile retreat 6/4/2007

This wonderful little bistro is equally great for a lovely sea bass dinner as it is for Sunday brunch. The posters, placards, and national team jerseys keep the place feeling quite authentic, and the warm and outgoing French waitstaff along with the lively French chef ensure that the experience is authentically superb. I highly recommend the roasted lamb with Provence herbs which is wonderfully tender and savory, but feel free to try something new. Just about anything on the menu is delectable. Pros: Ambience, Service, Food Cons: Parking more

Wow.. Magnificent!!! 6/14/2006

Where do I begin? From the moment we walked into Le bouchon we were treated like regulars. The owner himself brought us 2 glasses of champagne. I requested a special table and after 5 minutes we were seated. The french onion soup was incredible, I had the lamb and my boyfriend had the chicken fricasse. Wow...The mushroom risotto is the BEST I have ever had! Our first visit there was fri 6/9/06 we went back the very next day! The Escargot is delicious. The staff is so friendly. Bruno is great as well as the Chef... I can't wait to go back!!!! Pros: Ambience, service, food.. the best Cons: None whats so ever more

Charming little french bistro in Coconut Grove 3/12/2006

Imagine being served by gorgeous french waiters, real home style french cuisine. I love their sauted mussels, their cajun omelette and their freshly made tarts. A wonderful place for a relaxing lunch or romantic dinner. Pros: charming staff, wonderful food, good people watching Cons: not always prompt more

Pretty good 3/5/2006

The appearance of the place was surprising because we were expecting an elegant restaurant rather than a bistro. However, the food was very good and the service as was the service. Recommend the entrecotte, the goat cheese salad, and the sea bass. The Creme Brulee and coffee were nothing to write home about. Overall, we had fun and ate well. Pros: Food, Service, Ambiance Cons: Cost, Dessert, Coffeee more

Fantastic 8/19/2005

I only write about the places i truly love, and Le Bouchon is one of them! George Erick, the owner is amazing and makes the ambience so warming. The food is great, I love the cesear salad, but the mussels are to die for. If you like a place where you feel at home and where you will always be welcomed, this is for you.. and the wine list is actually quite wonderful Pros: incredible staff, great food, awesome location Cons: always busy more

Sunday brunch 5/8/2004

Wonderful ambiance for a relaxed Sunday brunch. Friendly service, we had party of 11 and in a few minutes tables were moved around to accomodate us. Enjoyed the Mimosa and the blueberry pancakes. Definetely would dine there again. more

Frenchman's reviewal 4/13/2003

I live in France and I have been in this restaurant during our vacation in Miami. To be honest, some waiters and the managers come from France. They have pretty good experience and recommendations. Proposed food get inspiration from France. Ambient is Small French town like BUT the list is very basic. Too few proposals and what they do propose is very expensive regarding the same value in France. This is a very good place to discover an exotic place for dinner but do not go there for tasting wine, they are NOT delicious. Last tip: I did not accept that the manager calls the customers like dogs... he whistles for!!!! Cons: bad wine more

oui oui, augh augh 1/30/2003

As far as French Bistro's go, this was fantastic. Everone smoke, the waiter's told specials in french accents, the space was cramped with wooden table and the food was great. A definite for afternoon lunch! Pros: ambiance, food Cons: small and cramped more

France in Miami 1/11/2003

A very auhentic French bistro that makes you think you are in Paris for a dinner. The dishes are delicious and range from classic bistro fare to more unique preparations. Be prepared to eat a lot! The owner is always around directing the Team. The only drawback comes from an extremely noisy band across the street! Pros: Authentic bistro, Excellent food Cons: Noise level, Proximity of tables more
