The Josh and Myo show is a must watch 5/5/2009

Friday nights at the Laugh Factory have been quite hilarious to tell you the truth, thanks to the Josh & Myo Show. It was a great evening with friends for a nice ride of live comedy. Even after five years at the Laugh Factory every Friday night is a treat. Energetic and refreshing, the experience was even better because I got my VIP tickets at Josh and Myo for free. more

Great shows 2/10/2008

This place showcases the best comedians out there. I've been here a couple of times and had nothing but good things to say. (cross fingers) There are a lots of unknown comedians but to my surprise they are really good. These are the kind of comedians you know are about to blow up. I saw Dane Cook before he got big, and he was really funny. Definitely, I recommend to come & see for yourself. more

Hold Your Stomach Hilarious 8/20/2005

I usually go to the laugh factory once a month to just chill and laugh all night long with my peeps. The Laugh Factory is a well known comedy club that showcases comedians from all walks of life. If you stop by during the week more than likely you’ll catch one of there themed nights which is inexpensive. On the weekends usually one of the big guns is featured and tickets will cost more so arrive early to avoid the line and to get a good seat. more

They have got different themes for each night for comedy. One night its amateurs, the next it is latino. Wednesdays are when they usually have their well-known comics doing shows. The prices are excellent for the entertainment. There is a two drink minimum. Line up early to get the best seating, because it is first come first sat. more

A Complete Nightmare! 6/19/2005

Yikes. Ok guys, my fiance and I received an invitation on Hollywood Blvd. to come to a midnight show at the Laugh Factory. The representative on Hollywood Blvd told us we'd get free drinks inside, and that the invite got us into the event for free. We were hesitant and tired by the time the show came around on the day of. But, we decided to make the 30 mins trip and pay for parking since we'd be getting in free with free drinks. heh. Well, when we got in, there was a seat planner, that was trying to squish us in the middle of the room, jam packed between everyone else. We didn't want to move, we were comfortable, and didn't want to be squished in beside other people, but the "seat planner" insisted or else we'd be removed. We then noticed, the signs in the club, that said "a two drink minimum purchase per person is required", and thought that likely means we were misinformed. Sigh. It's no wonder how they make their money. The drinks were jacked up in price. A simple small cup of soda pop was $4 (no refills!). Any other drinks were over $8 and for two people would have made a $40 difference vs FREE like we had thought. We spoke to the manager about what we were told, and even showed him the printed ticket that mentions the 2 drinks inside deal. But, quite frankly he was a jerk, and didn't care. We either bought drinks or left. We planned our night around this event, the least he could do was let us have the option not to buy drinks, if he wouldn't honor what we were told by his employee! The owner became rude, and verbally abusive, and at that point it didn't matter if we bought drinks or not, he was going to kick us out. So, my fiance was pretty ticked off about the whole thing, and he called the police to make a report. They came over and talked to us and the owner, and basically sided with us, but there was nothing we could do, since it was a private establishment. The owner could do what ever he wanted basically. Well, I just want to get the word of mouth around, because I too, can do whatever I want, as a very unsatisfied customer! more
