They advertise low prices and they charge more than when I was in New York. What a rip! and I think a misleading sign. I cannot imagine what the old prices were after I paid almost $100 for 4 garments. Watch out. Make sure you get, IN WRITING, what they are going to charge you before you leave! more

Don't have much to say. The price was too high for what I got back, even with a sign that advertised new low prices, and the customer service was not very good. Cheaper and better than Dependable Cleaners, though! more

I love how this cleaners is advertising ""40% off"" in their windows, and yet their ""40%"" off prices are STILL DOUBLE other cleaners regular prices. I WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE... more

I read all these reviews and was terrified to try this place, but I have brought about 20 items in over the past 6 months and have had friendly, excellent service, and the prices were not bad at all. I used to come with the old owners, and when I moved back to Denver, saw they are under new management. Decided to give the new owner a try. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews as I have had very good experience here and will continue to go. The owner is also very good at mending sweaters and other items. Im sorry to read about everyone's frustration on their experience with La petite cleaners. I remember growing up around this fast paced business as this was what it use to be. The owner Maryanne was a very hard working lady that ran the business with her two great sons Chuck and Danny along with my mother Grong whom ran the alterations department. My mother was a petite Thai lady that would give you a smile from behind the sewing machine that would brighten your day; she was always friendly as was the owners. The business use to jam people would be waiting in line to drop off and pick up garments pretty much all day. They even dry cleaned for Elton John when he performed along with the Mayor (at the time) Wilma and wellington Webb.... My mom worked hard and made customers so happy with their personalized alterations, that they would even bring her pictures send her postcards all of which proudly adorned her work station. My mother worked for them till the day she died where she collapsed in the grocery store suffering from a fatal aneurysm. Maryanne spoke at her funeral; and this is how the business cared for their own. Not long after that Chuck was diagnosed with Brain cancer and following his Death came Danny Suffering a fatal heart attack. Maryanne kept her business running as a strong woman demonstrated in her elder years. So the next time you walk into a ma and pa shop and are offended by the prices, take a moment to reflect on what's really important in your life and certainly if you were offended by the outrageous prices sure take your business elsewhere but don't demean someone's customer service, as hopefully you'll have had this review in mind. I had to look for cleaners for my little bit more than 20 pieces of my clothes, and I tried this place just because it was near in my neighborhood. The owner was so friedly and she asked me if I was a student, and she got me 50% off for all of them! so I let my friend to do her wedding dress here and she had huge discounts on that dress too. She loved it! It was worth more than what we paid for. more

I feel like a rube. I didn't ask how much 3 items were going to cost when I dropped them off. Surprise, surprise, when I picked them up. $112!! for a little girls dress, 1 wool shawl and 1 mens polyester t-shirt. Needless to say I will never go back. I wish I had read this site first. Pros: Good location, easy parking Cons: It's cheaper to buy new clothes than to take them here. more

Outrageously expensive. Prices are 3 times as much as any other cleaners in town and are apparently justified by hand cleaning everything. A simple shirt is $16.75 where everyone else is charging ~$3. Not worth it! Cons: Thumbs down......totally screwed with pricing more

I called to ask for prices and she kept repeating we do not give prices over the telephone; I just wanted an average price for a scarf since just inherited a bag of scarves and just got ripped off by another dry cleaner. She was very rude to me and then hung up on me...she didn?t even let me get a word in. I do not trust anyone that can not say well, it could be $5 but no more than $10. Frustrating!!! more

Charged $59 to clean a 2-piece suit that normally costs me less than $10 to get cleaned. I should have asked the price up front, but I never imagined it would be so expensive. No cleaner is worth that much. The suit wasn't even dirty or stained. Pros: OK location, parking out front Cons: Indefensibly expensive more

I had been a loyal customer for years then when they lost my pair of pants, they acted like it was my fault and refused any reimbursement. The staff always had come across helpful and pleasant, but when there was a problem they were quickly defensive. Horrible customer service... I left the store so frustrated and upset. more
