Great first date locale ! 9/7/2008

Always a delight, especially for coffee and deserts. Food is always fresh and good and the entire staff is friendly. Not exactly where you would want to go for a romantic dinner, but a nice first date, especially if you think your date has a 'sweet tooth', or deserves one ! Can't leave without taking some of the pastries or cakes with us. Trendy, upscale local art adds to the atmosphere. Pros: Nice location for coffee on a rainy day ! Cons: Parking is somewhat crowded for volume of dining and take-out business. more

this place is gross. the food is very poor quality and the service would rather not have to work. it took me an hour to get my food, which i couldn't even be forced to eat. more

Nightmare 7/5/2008

This place is aweful!! The food here isn't even tolorable, and the service takes forever. I would rather eat a live rodent. The CDC should seriously check this place out. It's scary. Pros: French, not many of those around Cons: horrible, service stinks, food is gross more

I ate at this place many times in the past, and it was very good. However, over the last two (2) years the quality has spiraled downward. First their statements that their seafood is fresh, and flown in daily is ludicrous. It may be flown in daily, but it's probably flown in frozen. The owners' attitudes are typical French. They could care less what you think of their place. The are happy to have their OLD (in age) customers who wouldn't know good French food, even if it was cooked by top notch chefs. I will never go back. Nor will i try their new venture in downtown Oklahoma City. more

Almost La Madeleine 11/12/2007

La Baguette is sort of like La Madeleine, the difference is that the air at La Baguette is snobby. The food is costly and not so great. They have a great environment, and there isn't a La Madeleine in Oklahoma, so what to do? more

This is such a great place for a workday lunch. The atmosphere is very casual and inviting. They have a great menu filled with French cuisine. Also for those non-workdays they have great prices on wine as well. more

One of the best restaurants in Oklahoma City 11/9/2005

Looking for something in the heartland that isn't deep fried to a golden brown? Does the phrase ""chicken-fried"" make you cringe? Then this is the place for you. French cuisine without the French attitude. Foie Gras and Steak au Poivre served with down-home hospitality and an amazing selection of wine primarily from...you guessed it, France! Stop in for brunch or a long relaxing dinner, replete with digestifs and something sweet from the adjoining bakery. more
