I'd like to sincerely thank the staff at Knuckle Up Fitness for offering the best product on the market and continuing to stay at the cutting edge of the combat sports industry helping to move it forward as a whole. This gym has earned my patronage as a lifetime member through their years of professionalism. I have yet to take a friend or one of my wrestling athletes that didn't sign up. It's very cool to have a 2 time state champion say wow coach thats one of the best workouts I've ever had. The selectiveness they have in their trainers and coaches is incredible......There is no stronger compliment than a referral in which case I refer everyone to get your tail in to the nearest Knuckle Up Fitness and thank the few who fought so hard to keep this gym alive and have it flourish today! more

Best Gym in Atlanta 6/30/2011

I've been a member of Knuckle Up Fitness since October and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I started really getting into Kickboxing starting in January and have lost 40lbs and 11.2% BMI. The trainers are top notch and really care about their clients. I would recomment this gym to anyone. They have several classes all throughout the day. I have been to several other gyms around the atlanta area and this one is by far my favorite. more

Knuckleup is a great gym 11/18/2010

I was not sure what gym i was going to join. I went to X3 sports and then tried Knuckleup. I decided to go with knuckleup because the trainers. I really didn't feel to welcome when i went to X3. My first class at Knuckleup was great the trainer was pushing me but still giving me instruction. The gym is always clean. I always feel accomplished after a class and feel that i left everything i had on the mat. This gym is great for the beginner all the way up to people that want to go pro in the MMA world. I would recommend this gym to anybody that want to get a great workout. more

Worst MMA gym in Atlanta 11/16/2010

If I could provide a lower rating than 1 star I would. These people are frauds who try to ride the coattails of previous employees. All of the current instructors are of very poor quality with very few exceptions. The organization is literally run by criminals who are only concerned with scamming members to turn a profit. This is the Bally's of MMA gyms. more

Addicted to KnuckleUp 11/16/2010

I've been a member for 4 years at KnuckleUp.... and I'm almost certain the trainers at the gym are trying to kill me!!!! But for whatever reason, I wake up the next morning excited about my next workout.... so I keep going back. Best gym in Atlanta. Whether its for a workout or a good fight, this is the place to be. Turned me from a pathetic weakling to a pathetic weakling with some definition and that knows how to throw some punches and run away a bit faster. Oh and if you love BURPEES... this is the place to be. If you have any doubts at all or aren't sure, you can take a free class. Trust me, it's worth it! more

Member for three years 11/16/2010

Just intense classes guided by experts in their respected disciplines pushing you beyond what you believed to be your limit. There is also a cardio, weight area and nutritionist making Knuckle Up your one stop shop for your health and fitness needs. Once you try it out, you will not go anywhere else. more

No other gym like it! 10/14/2010

I used to work out at LA fitness. I would spend hours lifting, treadmill, ect and saw minimal results. I'm now in the best shape of my life. The instuctors are top of the line and you won't find this level of instruction anywhere else. Whether you are looking to just do cardio kickboxing or train to learn a martial art, this is the place to do it and do it the right way. The change in my body is amazing. I look better then I did in my twenties! Not only will you look better and feel better but you'll be surrounded by people that will make you feel at home! Its def my second home! Just give it a try and you'll see for yourself. more

Simply amazing place! 10/12/2010

ner on my initial sales presentation. They were personable, and very informative. I'd done my research,, and Knuckle Up was the best value. I have the chance to attend any class I want from Muay Thai to BJJ to Boxing, Kickboxing, spinning or whatever. That is an extreme value. As previously mentioned, I was morbidly obese and I knew I had a long road ahead of me. The Muay thai classes and the BJJ classes were what I wanted to focus in. If I'd gone to LA Fitness or Bally's(who insist that you sign a 2 year contract) then I would've quit within the first month. Instead, Phillip, Matt, Jim, Master Murgel, CJ, Don, and all the other awesome staff members of KUF have welcomed, encouraged and assisted me in losing 60 pounds so far. I've made tons of friends in all the classes, and the environment is very positive. I love it here, and I wouldn't want to work out anywhere else. The trainers are very educated, and can help you lose weight, learn basics, or train for your next fight more

From fat to fit! 9/16/2010

Wow! How things have changed! I guess I'm lucky because I joined when the new management came on board. I've had nothing but success there. I am absolutely convinced that I would not be where I am today without Knuckleup Fitness and especially Stephen, Phillip and Mo. The classes, the boot camps, the Biggest Losers Challenges have all kept me not just in shape, but motivated and interested and having fun. When I joined in October last year I weighed around 250 pounds and wore a women?s size 18. Now I?m down to 174 and wearing a regular size 10. I couldn?t finish a whole class, now I?m able to not only finish the classes, but do pretty much all the exercises. Yes, it was hard, but these guys made it possible for me to start where I was and do as much as I could. They didn?t see my size, they saw my potential and helped me to see it too. I can?t thank them enough. I am really glad I took the 3 year membership. Made it really affordable for me, plus gives me the mind set that this is FOREVER, not just another fad that means I'm going to stop and gain my weight back. If anyone wants to see pictures of one of the boot camps, and my progress in the last year, check out mmy blog on wordpress getsmartgetstrong and search for Boot Camp Last Night. more

Great instructors and staff 9/9/2010

The people at Knuckle Up are great, knowledgeable! They work with you individually but not at the cost of a group instruction. Easy access no matter what time you come in and lots of options for classes at any fitness level. more

My Second Home! 7/16/2010

I joined Knuckle Up in January of 2008. At the time, I lived 3/4 of a mile from the Sandy Springs location and worked about 2 miles from the Alpharetta gym, so I signed a contract for a three year membership. I can honestly say I was at one of the two places 4-5 days a week, sometimes twice. I loved the staff---from the front desk folks to the trainers. Everyone was always helpful and I made some great friends. About a year into my membership, I found out I was pregnant. I continued taking KB classes, and the instructors even helped me modify the routines so that I could get a good workout while still being safe. After I had my son, I moved out of Atlanta. Before I moved, I went in to speak with CJ and let him know. He told me everything I would need to do so that I could cancel the remainder of my membership. I sent a letter to the billing company with all the necessary information making them aware of my move. Fast forward 8 months---I recently found out that the billing company had turned me over to collections for a delinquent account. I immediately contacted CJ, and he then contacted the billing company. Within two days, the problem was resolved. I understand the hesitation people have with signing contracts, but I will be resigning with Knuckle Up as soon as I move back to Atlanta. Not only was I in the best shape of my life while I was a member, but when I return, I can even bring my little guy along and leave him in the area for kiddos. The staff has more than proven that they are completely committed to excellent customer service, plus, Zumba sucks ass! Knuckle Up is the only way to go. Pros: great staff, kid area more

I love this gym!! 5/14/2010

I've had my fair share of gyms in the past and I can say this is the best one. I absolutely love how each instructor pushes me. From the moment I joined everyone has been helpful and personable. The classes are grueling but sooo rewarding. Well worth it. Pros: Pushes me more than any other gym I've joined. Cons: I don't have any yet. more

Best at what they do! 12/4/2009

I've learned so much, am in great shape. The new management is excellent. Pros: excellent workout and instruction, low monthly cost more
