****HORRIBLE**** organization now, I was a customer for 12 years, financed a car, had checking,savings,credit card and my mom in NY was referred by me: financed her car and has a card with them....this June my card was DEACTIVATED for ""inactivity"" because I stopped using card and started paying down on it because after the recession we were back to being a two income household....well they consider PAYMENT as inactivity...guess if I do not BUY anything they do not want me as a client! more

Bad Service, Really Bad! 12/11/2011

I put cash in my savings account and got as debit card for travel. Three times - on the same trip - I found myself stranded at foreign airports unable to get cash because Kinecta refused my card - and they were not available by phone until their ""normal business hours"" And, when I became hot under the collar for theirincompetence, the clerk told me she would hang up because i was being disrespectful Really? I will never again do business with this outfit. It was like being in a circuS fun house WITHOUT THE FUN!, OR like a Marx Brothers movie WITH THE COMEDY! I should have noted the sign =at the door when I first entered Kinecta, ""Abandon all hope ye who enter here!"" more

Been a member since 1973 when I started at Hughes Aircraft in Culver City. In time of emergencies the Credit Union was quick to provide money. Lately, since my retirement, we have been conducting our business at the Lakewood office. The people in this office are efficient, helpful and have much compassion for older folks such as I and my wife. We have several accounts with Kinecta. The rates are very attractive and hopefully as safe as with other institutions. I have nothing but positive things to say about Kinecta. This alone is a miracle, as I can be brutally blunt when not receiving competent service. I am looking forward to many more years doing business with Kinecta.
