My fiance was a patient there at Kindred about a month ago now. The first night was very rocky. I can't say it was all the fault of the workers at Kindred though. The next morning we had a wonderful nurse named Melissa. She was compassionate, friendly and very intelligent. She listened to everything I had to say and told me she would tell her manager. Not much longer after that I met Tammy who was the manager for the nurses. She had the warmest smile we had ever seen and everything she told us she was going to do, she did. She came and visited with us the rest of the time my fiance was a patient and even gave us her cell phone number to call her in the middle of the night if we needed to. Rose, who was the supervisor of the nurses at the desk, was our guardian angel. She seemed to know it all and even helped me get Dr. Tigra to call me so that we could ask our questions. There was no question asked that she could not answer. She knew my name and always greeted me with ""Good morning, Leslie"" when I stepped off the elevator. The nurses aides were always there when we needed them and my fiance had a particular bond with one named Angel who works overnight, she was a riot. We wish we could remember all the names of the nurses but the others that left a lasting effect were Dole, Netta, Claudia, Zeeza, Judy, Gerald, and Janet. The physical therapy guys and gals, especially Jennie, did wonderful work in getting him to walk all over the nursing unit. My fiance is home now and he is doing better than he has in months and by the grace of God we will finally have our wedding at the end of this year.
