I love this store. I wish we lived closer. I have a LOT of books from this store - can't beat 50 cents for a good quality board book. I also love the $1 rack for clothes. Its a little crowded so keep that in mind - don't bring your double stroller! more

Kids on 45th 2/14/2006

Kids on 45th is a consignment store on - you guessed it - 45th in Wallingford. I am such a fan of consignment - the clothes are abundant and cheap (like $2 for a pair of pants or a shirt) and the brands are often very good (Gap, Hanna Anderson, Gymboree). My son is happy as a clam in his hand-me-downs-from-strangers. Even better are the toys and books. Just yesterday I got a great board book and a Richard Scary for like, practically nothing. Run don't walk. The downside? It can be a little disorganized and crowded, but for what you get, who cares? more

easy buying and selling of kid's stuff 3/22/2005

this consignment store is well organized and (usually) very manageable for a quick visit. clothes are arranged by type (pants/jackets) and age. they also have a big toy corner where kids can peruse playthings(while you shop) and find the one toy they cannot live another moment without. this store also has gently used baby tools like bath tubs and bouncy seats as well as new products including a great line of colorful basic cotton shirts and leggings, cloth diaper assessories, and some gift items. more
