The Best Veterinary Office in Town! 2/19/2010

I have lived in Downtown Seattle for 9 years now, Elliot Bay was the very first vet I took Ruby (my beloved Min Pin) to after a very scary seizure incident, and again shortly there after for a not-too-scary ate- a-bowl-of-cashews incident. Both times they were unbelievabley professional, thorough, kind, visabley loving toward her, empathetic, and informative. They kept me completley in the know about health risks, details of her health issues, and the cost at all times. As 21yr olds often do, I made a big mistake and decided to stop going to EBAH, and start trying various other less expensive vets. I have "tried" at least 4 other vets in the downtown area, and I can nearly assure you that there is no better veterinary hospital in the area. 2 days ago when Ruby fell ill and seemed unable to move, I decided to stop messing around and go straight to EBAH. I am very happy to say that it was an even better experience than I remember it being before! It is amazing the different experiences you get between an average vet and a top notch one. Elliot Bay Animal Hospital is definatley worth the slighty higher prices, they will save you money in the long run. I am switching my 6 mo. old mini dachshund, Lucy, to EBAH ASAP. more

Elliott Bay is Great 11/24/2005

I moved to Seattle this summer with my 20-year-old, much loved cat. I was very concerned about the impact of the move on her and also about finding a vet who knew alot about geriatric cats. Dr. Sherrie Crow at Elliott Bay is terrific. My cat is as good, if not better, than before. I agree with the other comments that it would be nice if they could speed up the check-out process but am very willing to put up with that in exchange for the great care given there. more

Excellent vets 8/22/2005

Elliott Bay Animal Hospital is located on 15th NW at the bottom of the west side of Queen Anne hill. They have some of the finest vets dedicated to keeping your pet healthy and happy with preventative medicine. They always send out reminders when shots or check ups are due. They are excellent with handling the animals and take measures to minimize the stress of your pet going to the vet. more

The Best Pet (and People) Care Around 8/20/2005

I hesitate to go into this, but several years ago I had to put my very best pal down. Chess (my rough and tumble cat of 16 years, who out lasted three addresses, two boyfriends and a husband) had been sick for a long time and I was crushed. After being bullied and demeaned by a vet on Capitol Hill, I searched for and found a group of vets for whom such conduct is simply inconceivable. Right up until the end, Chess had been under the excellent care of Dr Heather Weihl at EBAH. During his last year I suppose a vet of failing dignity and compassion could have talked me into expensive procedures and treatments, but Dr Weihl demonstrated tremendous understanding. And when his time came she was THE BEST. She came to my home and gently put him to sleep. I will be forever grateful for her humanity. Also at EBAH is my former neighbor, Dr Annie Raftis. Interbay is a long way from Edmonds, but it may be worth the drive. more

When your pet deserves only the best! 8/16/2005

Our dogs have been going to this veterinarian for more than four years. They offer the full gamut of services for best from animal boarding to full health checkups for dogs and cats. Dr. Snow has been a long time doctor there and is very good to both of our beagles! My only complaint is that after the checkup I'm usually waiting 15 minutes for them to get the bill ready. I'm sure that my dogs just want to get out of there after their visit with the vet! more

Elliott Bay Animal Hospital 8/16/2005

Elliott Bay Animal Hospital is a vet's office for people who love their pets like family. They are on the higher end of the price spectrum, but they are one of the only vet offices in Seattle approved by the AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association), which requires extremely high standards of cleanliness, care, state-of-the-art equipment, etc. The office is always busy, so expect to wait a bit. Luckily their waiting room is very comfortable and everyone is very nice (there's tea and water in the back). They also board animals at the office. My kitties (including one diabetic) go there and I love it. The vets are excellent and and very helpful. http://www.elliottbayah.com/ more

worth the drive 7/28/2005

We have been taking our dog here for several years. The service is great and prices are consistent with other vets. DR. Kelly was voted best diagnostic vet by the readers of Seattle Weekly in 2004. He spends a good amount of time explaining things to you. Highly Recommended more
