Arriving an hour earlier than our reservation, we expected to be seated in the bar, but we were wisked to a table immediately. Our waiter, Eric, appeared, within moments had us relaxed, informed and prepared for a delightful evening. My wife ordered one of the specials, the Duck Confit, and I had set my sights on a filet while making the reservations. Both were wonderfully prepared and presented, and while ""Tater-Tots"" and ""Hogan's Peas"" don't sound exciting, I recommend them highly! Chef John Hogan stopped by our table, and upon hearing of our upcoming visit to NY, referred us to four restaurants in Manhattan. Our new favorite, Keefer's, thanks to Chef Hogan and his excellent staff, is at the top of our referral list.
