I have planned two events through Kaspars and both were a resounding success! People gushed over the food....it was SO TASTY and fresh! And Kaspar is an amazing addition to any event, he is charming and entertaining for the guests. Nancy and the catering staff are genuine, kind and treat you like family. My whole experience was just amazing.\r more

Wedding Spectacular 2/22/2010

I had my wedding here and the staff made it a special night to remember. I did food stations through out the space and my guests raved about the food for weeks after. The event planner helped me every step of the way and put my mind at ease. The service staff was top notch. Oh and did I mention the food!!! Chef Kaspar rocks! Can't wait to go back for a special event to celebrate our 1 yr. Pros: Fabulous Food, Great Service, Beautiful Space more

Great for events 1/11/2007

The company that I work for hosted a client appreciation night at Kaspars and it was a great success! The entire evening was out of this world. The food, the great cozy warm atmosphere and location were top notch. Clients loved the inventive appetizers including flatbreads, chicken quesadillas, and delectable crab spring rolls. Kaspars went above and beyond to make the night a success. The staff is very professional and everyone commented on how easy the entire night was to execute. We used the Elliott Bay room at Kaspars for food and drinks and the Fireside Room for a presentation. We cannot wait for our event again this year - and of course it will be at Kaspars! Pros: ambience, service, food selection Cons: parking more

great pre-event dinner 5/7/2005

i went to Kaspars for the first time last week and really enjoyed the food. the prices are reasonable, parking is good, service was OK. it is a great place to dine before the theatre, opera, etc. more

Great food; great value 3/13/2005

Kaspar's is one of those rare places that the food is consistently good without the cost being in the highest tier of expense. more

very disappointing 12/19/2004

a pre holiday meal was terribly disappointing. Our host who promptly let us know they were out of bread, steak, and lamb. How does one run out of bread when there is a Safeway on the next corner? The fish was served cold, the hungarian goloush didn't show any signs of paprika, and the chicken was swimming in a cranberry chutney like substance. However on a positive note, the spinach salad was delicious... although I had to fight an over zealous wait staff for it as he tried to clear my plate several times before I was finished. Perhaps they need a refresher course in how utensils are placed on a plate to signify the patron is finished. Meal was well over priced for something most of us could have prepared far better in our own kitchens. Truly disappointing and would not recommend you spend your money there. Pros: location Cons: , service, prices more

Kaspar's 7/16/2004

Kaspar's is a truly unique dining experience, the menu is like nothing i've seen, it combines the local favorites of seattle with the technical knowhow if its owner's european background. the 8.8 rating does not do this restaurant justice. i HIGHLY reccomend it Pros: Menu has variety, Great Wait Staff, good portions more

Fantastic! 3/15/2004

I went to Kaspar's with friends for the prix fixe meal. We all enjoyed our dinners completely. The service was great. We started with cocktails and our servers timing was just right. Can't wait to come back for the wine tastings! Pros: Great Food!, Perfect Cocktails!, Great Service more

fair fare 11/20/2003

let's start with the good - kaspar's had a wonderful ambiance. lovely interior, soft lights, etc. and great parking. the rest is mediocre. service was slow, food was good but not even close to great. wine prices are crazy - some bottles are over $200. i definitely expected more from this restaurant, was pretty disappointed. more

What happened to the ""old"" Kaspar's? 9/23/2003

This place has really gone south! Water is being served in cheap (""Migro""-kind) glasses. Gone is the famous bread-basket, instead of which precise minuscule rations are being served. Each entrees on the menu is now split into the meat-part and the veggies-part. Wine prices are obscene. Service is slow. Pros: free parking Cons: cheap couvert, unruly guests, read above more
