Great Campus 12/31/2005

I went to KCC during my first 2 years in college. It is probably the most beautiful Community College and rivals many of the Universities. The college professors take their jobs very seriously and make KCC a great place to get a great education. If you plan on going to UH Manoa then consider going to Kapiolani Community College for easy class transfers and cheaper prices for classes than at the University of Hawaii. more

Beautiful atmostphere 12/29/2005

I took all of my core classes here because it was cheaper than at the University and the credits were transferable so it was all the same. The campus is beautiful with lots of trees an wide open grassy areas. Another plus about going to a community college is that the classes were smaller with less students so I was able to get more attention from the teachers and I feel I was able to do a lot better because of that. There is a lot of parking but I use to go early so I'm not sure what the afternoon parking is like. The cafeteria was nice with huge floor to ceiling windows. It felt more like a restaurant rather than a cafeteria. more

Beautiful Campus w/Friendly Instructors 10/5/2005

Like the other reviewers, I don't see why anyone wants to go to the university of Hawaii for their liberal art requirements but you can pay half then amount at KCC and still transfer over the UH after that. Not only that, the campus is beautiful. You can sit in the small classrooms and look out at the ocean (of course only some buildings have this view). I would highly recommend this college to anyone graduating from HIgh School. It will be a nice transition to college life. more

Great Community College 9/2/2005

I attended this college several years ago and I really enjoyed it because of its small size. Since the classes are smaller its easier to get the teacher's attention and help. Tuition at this college is a lot cheaper than at the larger colleges. It is also a lot easier to find parking and to walk to your classes because the campus is so small. I enjoyed all of my teachers at this community college. more

Great Community College 7/29/2005

Why wouldn't you spend 2 years at this beautiful campus and then move to a university for the last 2 years. I got my AS from KCC and than transferred to UH Manoa. The KCC campus is beautiful & offers many of the same courses, some taught by the same teachers as UH. The parking is free & the tuition is cheap. A nice school & a good deal. more
