A cozy little Japanese sushi restaurant in the heart of San Jose Japantown. Came here for dinner when I was seriously craving some fresh raw fish. The Kaita Sushi (Chef's choice) combo came with 10 pieces of nigiri. I was delighted to find sunazuri and toro on my dinner plate. The nigiri were exactly how I like them to be - small bite size with a thin long piece of fish sitting nicely on top of the loosely packed rice. The quality of the fish was a little disappointing though. Sunazuri, toro and hotate were decent but I have had much better uni and ikura.
Overall I would say the sushi is 3.5 star quality. Rounding up because I like the friendly service and the cozy atmosphere.
