After two trips to their office to get my Tag's watch battery changed, they could not even be bothered to be there during office hours, we went to High End Watch Repair. We had used K&H in the past but did not really want to leave my Tag behind for service if they are not even there. Crazy too that a battery repair takes two weeks. more

DO NOT GO HERE! Never again will I use this place. The first time I went they did a good job and I was able to pickup my watch. At that time they were a Tag authorized repair shop. Apparently they changed owners and now they are no loner an authorized repair center and the work they do is terrible. My watch was in excellent condition when I dropped it off. They would not allow me to pick it up this time. They said they would FEDEX it to me, and they did. When I got the watch I was shocked to see the condition it was in. Not just scratched up, but pits were in the watch casing. It looks like they kept my watch and sent me one with my backplate on it. I absolutlely could not believe it. Everyday I look at this watch I get so mad at K & H. They damaged my watch and would take no responsibility for it. Beware! This is NOT a place you would want to leave anything of value to be worked on. When they receive your watch they will say it has scratches on the band, crystal and casing without looking at it. This is just to protect themselves I guess, but they did not look at my watch and show me any problems before I left. I can never fix the pits in my watch casing now and have to live with this. If you have used this place before as I had many years ago, just because they did a good job then does not mean they will again in the future. Do not say you were not warned. more

This is the great watch repair in the country. I have a very valuable Tiffany Concord watch that I took to Tiffany two watch repair locations in New York City and no one could repair my watch. I was fortunate enough to find K&H and not only did repair the internal working he also brought the watch back to it's original condition. I also took my gold Rolex that the clasp kept coming undone. Rolex wanted to replace the clasp for $7,500 dollars K&H adjusted the band and I was out of there in 15 minutes no charge. This is an honest knowledgable business. I would recommend them to anyone. more

If you have seen a good review, it is most likely before the change of ownership. I use to like this place. Now they hold your watch hostage for weeks. I've had two Tags go through there. Amazing that BOTH my Tags needed the same critical repairs. One battery later, they needed ALL the same work. You agree, or you don't get battery and your watch has been misisng a month. Just Terrible. Old owner would fix as you waited for fair price, not this one. Why pay $140 for a battery and pressure test? I now go to High Grade Watch Inc. Won't step foot in K&H again! more

Over past seven years have entrusted K & H with several watches. They were able to find parts for discontinued a model and repair the watch to like new function and appearance. Such professional craftsmanship is getting hard to find in this day and time...........These guys are really good. more

I have an Ebel watch and didn't want to entrust it to just any repair service. When ""googling"" Ebel, I found K&H Watch Service online. My watch has had minor servicing a few times over the years and only once, have I been charged. Kind, professional, technically proficient and honest. It can't get much better than K&H. more

A small gold screw was missing from my 18kt. gold Ebel watch. The replaced the screw while I waited and tightened all the others. Plus, they even polished my watch. All this for $47.00 plus tax. And took only 20 minutes! more

My husband's Tag watch had lost one of the little dots on the face of the watch. As I have been a customer of K & H for over ten years, I took his watch in to be repaired. They did call me with an estimate but I found it difficult to reach them in return. I simply sent a letter to them. The owner responded the day he received the letter, apologized profusely (seems they were having a phone system problem) and the watch was ready within 24 hours. K & H still has my business!!! more

I waited 9 months for a part to a Tag watch. They finally called and said it was in. When I got there they said they didn't have it. I had a Gruen watch fixed there at least 3 times, it kept stopping. When I went to pick up the part to the Tag watch they said they didn't have my Gruen. This place is horrible! They weren't the least bit apologetic about the situation. Cons: lost my watch, never fixed my other one more

I have a classic mechanical Movado which stopped running which I took to K & H for service. They lost it for over 3 months, and only my written instruction that they were going to find it or pay for it got them to hunt it down. They really hadn't cared before that. \r \r I got the watch back, working, some $300 later.... I received no formal apology (just ""sorry about that"") and no discount.... paid full ticket.\r \r Now, a year later the watch has stopped again. Their fault? Probably not. Are they going to get another chance to work on it. Probably NOT. I'd recommend mailing your watch somewhere else - it certainly can't take any long and there's no more risk of losing your watch.\r Pros: They're an authorized point for many good watches Cons: Not so sure they really know what they're doing any more more

They got my Movado on 12/9/09. Very difficult to get a live person on the phone during business hours. Talked to one sales associate many days later after they had my watch. Had not finished with it. Finally was thinking about just going to get it finished or not. Sent a fax to them requesting status and got a call back that same day. Luckily it was finished, I paid and it is being shipped back to me. So I can not rate higher than 4 because of communication. The company has been short staffed and are behind schedule. I wish I would have known that because then I wouldn't have been so upset. I just wanted to know what was going on with my watch. So I might get watch tomorrow which would make it 14 days to repair gasket and replace battery. I sent in my Movado FIerro Tungsten watch about 5 months ago. They still have not finished my watch. Either the watchmaker is out of town, on vacation, parts havent been in.Excuse after excuse. I appreciate the workmanship of a watchmaker but they must understand there are options as a cusumer. Its a Movado, not Cartier or Rolex, I can get it at the mall. watch was 2500, repair for crystal was 1000, and 5 months into it nothing. They just said it will be another 3 weeks. Half a year. I had to buy a new watch. Just to wait. Send your repair somewhere else. Pros: Only Movado certified Cons: They can take as long as they want No Comp. more
