Just Calm Down Spa

While booking this place for a bachelorette party, the owner automatically put us down for manicures and pedicures when we only wanted manicures. After that we were told we only had 1 hour and HAD to be there on time. We ended up waiting 30 minutes to be seen. The services are great, but a bit expensive. The Lady Godiva manicure left my arms feeling so soft and smelling so good. It is very good if you want to go by yourself or with one friend. However, the owner kept telling us to be quiet, even when we were talking in small groups. The owner should have warned us that we had to be quiet, and we never would have booked the place for a bachelorette party. Plus the hot cocoa I received with my Lady Godiva manicure had paper in it. My boyfriend recently gave me a gift to Just Calm Down and I was so grateful to him. Initially I was kind of nervous because I've never really had any spa treatment done but once I walked in, the staff was extremely friendly and calming. I felt as if I was someone important unlike the snobby salons treat you. After trying to decide what I wanted I finally decided on the Godiva manicure and pedicure. It included milk, marshmallows and chocolate. I was blown away by the variety of options that were available and how different they were from anything I had ever seen before. I was very impressed with Just Calm Down and the amazing treatment that I received! Their Jewelicious facial was just I needed to chase away the winter blues! As a total just calm down junkie I had to respond to the review written by nmb23. The owner is the most helpful woman I know at any spa! My friends will agree! The last time I visited I enjoyed my weekly favorite Rock Star Massage. I couldn't believe that while I was checking out, that a very abrasive gentleman did not want to pay for his friend's service that he admittingly did not bother to cancel on time. He yelled at the owner while the person who he did not cancel for was sitting on the couch! The owner even offered to stay late and give the service to someone else in their party! She was so nice and accomidating I can't believe that he would write such a false review! just calm down rocks and is by far the friendliest, best and most down to earth spa!
