What a great place! As parents of a 9 month old, we miss eating at our favorite pubs. After securing a babysitter on Tuesday nights, The Jolly Roger was the first place we wanted to return. Excellent food - the Little Jolly ""sliders""-style burgers are excellent. We had mussels and clams that were wonderful - just enough flavor but didn't mask the taste of the seafood. Beer is always great. Service is perfect. Much of the staff are transfers from Hoyt's on Queen Anne - a place we dearly miss as upper Queen Anne turns into a giant tanning salon and condo complex. Jolly Roger continues the good food and friendly service that is missing in so much of changing Seattle. A busy tap room is worth the wait!
Pros: lots of food price options, great atmosphere, tasty beer, quality people
Cons: busy
