Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional dentist and staff. It's a Big office (in Sunnyvale) which allows Dr. John Licking to stop by and say hello even while the assistant is cleaning the kid's teeth. more

Hygiene appointment 2/9/2012

Everything was great, as usual. I learned about a varnish to protect enamel and prevent cavities so I went ahead and had treatment after cleaning. Thank you Mayr. more

Excellent service 2/2/2012

Always a fan on Dr Vellequette and their staff. Usually I deal with Mayr and she's terrific. They've been my dentist since he started back in the 80's (or there abouts), and even after I moved out of the area, I still come to see them. more

A Kinder, Gentler Dentist 2/1/2012

I visited Dr Vellequette's office after getting the runaround from another dentist by their marketing and sales staff. Much to my relief, the staff was not pushy and willing to work with me on planning a workable and affordable strategy that fit into my work schedule. Dr. Vellequette and his staff have a friendly chairs-side manner and he gives the best novocain shot this side of the Pecos. So great to have a regular dentist again! more

I am so grateful and thankful to have the greatest dentist around as my dentist. He always takes the time to make sure I am taken care of. Even though he has a busy practice , he always takes such great care of his patients and takes the time to answer all questions and explain things so that even someone like me ... can understand ! And all of his staff at the office are so wonderful and so helpful and so caring !! Thank you all and thank you Dr. John ... You are THE BEST !!! more

Everyone at the dental office is amazing. Dr. Vellequette & Dr. Stephanie - two of the most caring people who make you feel comfortable and just makes you want to smile! Administrative team - scheduling appointments is easy and they understand how insurance works. Thanks everyone for the great service!!! more

Mayr was absent, but I very much liked the cleaning job by Danni 1/20/2012

Mayr is always excellen in dental hygiene, in terms of mixing hygiene advice,wonderful sociability and expert skills. But Mayr was absent on 1/17/12. I hope that all was well with her.I was at first very disappointed but then I found Danni Lewis to be very pleasant, did a very nice job and dispensed her own valuable advice. I was then quite mollified. more

Unhappy Patient 1/18/2012

Hi, I had a hygiene appointment with Mayr on Tues, 1/17. She called in sick that morning and unfortunately, I was not notified that Mayr would be out sick. I specifically requested to work with Mayr and drove all the way from Fremont (sitting in traffic) to discover Mayr was out for the day. It would be appreciated if I was given heads up so I could reschedule and not make the trip to the dental office. ~Tim Tran more

I miss having a follow through program 1/17/2012

The service I've had in your office has been good. I have no complaints about it. As I was leaving the receptionist wanted to schedule an appointment for the next cleaning. I rarely go to a dentist, so her suggestion of 3 months came as a surprise. We agreed on 6 months, which still seems very soon. At my first exam there was mention of your developing a plan to improve my teeth. What happened to that? As a business man I would not have let a patient leave the office without a consultation and strategy session. more

no pain, only friendship, on crown for # 30 tooth 1/16/2012

Dr. Vellequette, as usual did an extremely competent job. He combined this with his characteristic dose of friendliness and humor. It made the entire experience as close to enjoyable as is possible, for installing a new crown. His assistant, Minja also did a nice job. On other occasions, his longtime assistant, Joanie,also always does a great job. more

Always the best 1/5/2012

I went in begging for a root canal, but Dr John was conservative (which was appropriate). He convinced me my tooth was not ready for an expensive treatment and that he would be there at any time if things got worse. Of course, my tooth feels better today! He is the best! more
