I actually went back and took a minute to do a small video featurette on JM Cellars if anyone cares to see it. It's on my site Wine Folly
... my rating is based on expectations limited to Woodinville, which is an awkward wine country built into strip malls with small boutique wineries, many of which survive solely on the generosity of locals.
However, JM Cellars is the diamond in the rough. It's easily one of the best wineries in Woodinville, if not the best.
Delicious wine.
John Bigelow is an excellent, charming winemaker, who is generous with his time and down to earth.
Fantastic ambience and incredible grounds, it's a beautiful location especially considering its location.
It's not the best value, but that's not to say it isn't worth its price... It just depends on your budget.
Definitely stop by and at least taste the wine.
