Jimbo's has the best udon on the island. Their noodles are homemade and their soups is so delicious. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends and sometimes there is a bit of a wai...

Home Made Udon at Jimbos 3/21/2006

Home made udon is the specialty at Jimbo’s. Home made is udon is like having al dente pasta, only its udon! Their udon is served either hot or cold, with traditional combinations of tempura, and other specialties such as hiyashi udon and natto udon.. They also serve other traditional dishes such as tendon, ozoni, and donburi dishes. Jimbo’s shares space with Makino Chaya at the old King’s bakery location and the parking spaces along the right side of the lot (against the fence) are reserved for Jimbo customers. Parking is also available in the back of the building. more

Very good Japanese Noodle! 10/9/2005

Their Udon and Tempura don set is my favorite here. They can definitely fill you up and the price is around $10. This is a good place to go with a small group of people or as a couple as most of the tables are small. One thing though I remember the green tea used to taste better before, but these days it tastes almost like hot water. The service is ok to good depending on the waiter/waitress. If you want to try Udon, this is a good place! more

Japanese Food on King St. 10/9/2005

Jimbo's is located on S. King Street. This restaurant is the small, a line of regulars outside, fantastic house-made ramen and udon. The food's price is good and affordable. It is good place for any noodle lover to try. Jimbo's serves home-made udon in a flawless broth , then tops the works with shrimp tempura, chicken, eggs, vegetables, seaweed, roasted mochi, and a variety of accompaniments of your choice. Cold noodles are good menus to try as well. , Personally , I like its donburi rice dishes with assorted toppings. I would recommend you to get a combo that will come with Noodles based on your choice. Jimbo's nabeyaki is really good too! Parking is available , but there are a few of them.. more
