I've been here plenty of times and have NEVER had a problem with anything! Normal NY prices, fun staff, lots of things to look at and watch. Cool specialty drinks. Btw: fleas hop, not fly. I don't live in NY anymore but come in when visiting. Still great! more

I'll keep this review short and sweet; the food is overpriced and tastes like garbage. Granted, the scene is pretty awesome, they're very interactive with you as you eat and the show is entertaining, but the point of going to a restaurant is mainly for the food not the show. If you have nothing better to do with your money, but want a little show, go here! more

As far as theme restaurants go--this has been the very best! And I have been to many...From the moment we walked in until we stepped out it was enjoyable. The staff was kind, courteous and patient. Of course the entertainment was over the top---it should be that way--its a theme restaurant. What impressed me the most was how interactive it was. The food was surprisingly good and came fast! The prices were decent considering that fun & laughter are included. But it really comes down to the patron--do you want to have fun or not? An experience is what you make out of it! So my sincere thanks to everyone there for truly brightening up an otherwise dull Wednesday! more

I've visited this restaurant half a dozen times and this last time was by far the worst expeirence! The food took about 45mins to come out. We ordered salads and kids chix fingers. My salad was missing the tuekey and cheese described on the menu and my neice never got her bbq auce. Service was half assed and so where the actors. I have many friends in the business and I like to support their art but not at double the cost and half the quality as passed years. I will not be taking my tourist friends and family there again. Are there new owners or management? Again we all where terribly dissappointed. more

I went to the Jekyll and Hyde club on Saturday at around 7pm, when I got up to it there was a line up the block. So me and my two girlfriends decided to wait. We got in line and were standing next to these people in these creepy costumes, this was just in line (they did not work there) so that entertained us for the wait outside. when we got inside we were told there would be a little more wait, but we could have a drink at the bar while we waited, alcohol while we waited, we were so in. we finally got seated about 45mins in and were immediately greeted by 2 female servers, we weren't sure we wanted to sit on the 2nd floor but when Chelsea and Maria got us started we just had to stick up around there. The food was ok but with the really funny doctor, Maria and Chelsea it really made me and my girls happy we waited. We will be back there again, hopefully there won't be that long of a wait. Pros: worth the wait! Cons: there was a huge line, waited about 25 outside and 20 inside more

8 of us went into Jekyll and Hyde club to celebrate my son Dillon?s birthday on June 3rd towards the dinner hour. We have been there many times and know about all the entertainment. when we were originally sat we were sat in a corner of the restaurant with masks on the wall, we asked the manager how long it would be for another table and he said it would be a bit because of how busy it was. but he suggested to sit here for now and when a better table gets up he will come right over and move us, we took him up on is offer and within 10 minutes he came over and moved us to a great seat. Maria came over with great high energy and took stellar care of us, we told her it was my son Dillon?s birthday and she said that's all I had to say and she would take it from there. To sum it all up this birthday was so fun. although the food took 25 minutes which is not bad for 2 well done steaks, we brought a membership and the gypsy and the entire staff helped with the ceremony, all the attention in the restaurant was on my son Dillon, and as a mother it made me so happy, then after the ceremony was over and we finished eating, Maria again pulled all the attention to my son with a huge birthday song that again the entire restaurant helped out with. The serving staff was so caring about all there guests and was able to make this such an unforgettable experience, despite how busy they were their guests cares came first. Maria and the rest of the staff including the management staff should be commended on how well groomed the staff is. We will be back there soon for my daughter?s birthday and many more to come. I went to the club tonight with my girlfriend and we've never been there before but some of out friends have, they told us to go there and ask for some server named D-Train. We went in and asked for him and as luck would have it he was working. We sat at the table and had the most fun we've ever had at a restaurant, I?m not into fine dining where the servers just take your order and walk away, I want those high energy fun servers that make me leave my seat. Not to mention he made my girlfriend feel really special, and if my girl is happy on our anniversary I don't care how high the bill was it was worth everything. The entire staffs made us feel welcome and kept blowing up the fact were we were there for our anniversary, any other restaurant would have just been like ""ok and whatever"" because we are teenagers. But D-train and the entire staff made us feel awesome. he even sang a birthday song and got the entire restaurant to look at my girl cause i told him to embarrass her. The gypsy brought her up on stage also which made her more embarrassed. This was defiantly the most memorable anniversary we've had in the 3 years we've been together. Big ups!!! And my thanks to D-train and the entire Jekyll and Hyde staff for making it so memorable. If you're in NYC go to Jekyll and ask for D-Train, (the server not the station) he'll make it all worth it. We were huge fans of the Jekyll and Hyde club years ago; our last two visits about (two years ago) did not impress us. Today June 3rd 2009 was going to be our third and final attempt to see if the food quality was still poor and the service, unimpressive. We are very happy to report that was not the case. The food was phenomenal and the service stellar. Life has come back to the Jekyll and Hyde club, with a strong management staff, great service, excellent kitchen and impressive entertainment, it is apparent that Jekyll and Hyde has made a huge turn around within the two years of our last visit. We look forward to coming back VERY soon. Pros: big turn around in 2 years more

What a great time! We all enjoyed our food, it was quite tasty and cooked just right! My children enjoyed the shows and the unique atmosphere. It was great for us adults as well..great drinks. As a former employee, just take it from me. When the lights went on at the end of the night the insects would scatter. I once saw a fellow waiter drop a pizza, face side down and slather it right back on the tray and serve it to his customers. Because the service is so slow, and the dirty rodent filled basement houses the kitchen, food is lifted up through an ancient dumbwaiter. If you are on the 4th floor it is about 16 flights down to let the kitchen know of any mis-orders or just to get a side of bleu. If you could smell the decaying garbage in the basement hallway (right next to the kitchen) it would be something that will stay with you forever. I come to Jekyll and Hyde regularly for girls night. There is usually a long wait because it's a tourist attraction. If you're going in for the bar, you're good. I've learned to sit at the bar and order stuff from there. The atmosphere ROCKS! There are actors walking around and they're rude, they're supposed to be. And the mounts on the wall talk to you! I have an awesome time everytime I go. The food is a little expensive and not everything on the menu is that great. The fries are really good. It's a great exprerience. Pros: It's a great experience. Best Restaurant/Entertainment value in NYC! My Family went for dinner at 5PM on Monday, December 21th. Because of the weather, there was no waiting line. The service was above average, and the was food was excellent. I had Blackened Tuna, which was perfectly perpared, and my wife had the Shrimp Special, which she also enjoyed. My son had a Kids Spaghetti, and he finished the whole plate, plus desert! The atmosphere was tremendous. I would truly recommend Jekyll & Hyde to anyone.
