I LOVE THIS PLACE!! 12/13/2006

Well I like to have a good time and I like things that are different so this place is for me. Atmosphere is the most important and I love the decorations and the shows. 4 cool floors: The Attic, The Laboratory, The Library and the Grand Salon. Different things that come to lfe all over the place. I sort of felt like I was in London in a private Club that was haunted. I love the large selection of beer. Good Time 12/6/2006

The Family loved this place. I took my family to Jekyll and hyde after seeing the show the Grinch. This place is fun for the entire family. The service was friendly and helpful and even walked my kids around the different themed floors. Please, DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME 12/6/2006

After my trip to Jekyll and Hyde, I checked out some of the reviews on this site and i was shocked to see that people were fooled into thinking they had a good time there!! My friends and i had a horrible experience. After a long wait to actually get in, we found ourselves just sitting around waiting way too long just for drinks. It seems as though seating us was another form of wait in disguise. Our ""guide"" wasn't very helpful and didn't pay much attention to our table. The ""entertainment"" (is that what they called it?? ha!) was very dull and unamusing. We had a boring night when we expected an enjoyable and unique dining experience. Dont even let me get started on the food,. I dont mind splurging on food when its worth it. The food at Jekyll and Hyde was pricy and tasteless... a combination that DOES NOT go together well. Food and Entertainment Great 11/30/2006

I want to share my experiance at Jekyll and Hyde this past Saturday Night. The Restaurant was extremely busy and we had to wait an hour for a table. It was well worth it. My family and I had a great time and the server Jenn was extremely hospitable and friendly. The nachos were enough for all four of us as an appetizer. A GREAT FAMILY EXPERIENCE!! 11/30/2006

We all had so much fun at this very unusal place. Things came to life all over the place and the kids loved it! They actors running around like a butler and a mad scientist and other crazy members of the Club and a show with Frankenstein coming to lfe and so much more. We really enjoy the food and exploring all 4 floors of the amazing building filled with all kids of artifacts and antiques right out of a Univeral Hooror movie but with a great sense of humor. If you are in New York you must visit this place. Nothing like it anywhere. WARNING: RODENTS IN THE RESTAURANT 11/29/2006

I went to this restaurant last night with friends and was shocked to see very large rodent on the third floor of this restaurant in plain view of where we were sitting and eating. The rodent was in the bar / food preparation area. We informed the manager, who was very dismissive and tried to hustle us out of the restaurant. Do not eat here. I have filed a complaint with the NYC department of health. Pros: Will NEVER go here again. Cons: Rodents in the restaurant. No one should eat anywhere there are rodents running around in plain sight more

This is the type of place that you go once just for the experience, family and kids will love it because it looks like a haunted house. They also have performances while you eat which is entertaining. The food is ok, just nothing special. Went once and that was enough for me. Great for tourists and large groups. more

What a ride! One fun moment after the next. Great food and fun entertainment. Great fun for anyone, but especially for families. There is no ohter place like this on the planet. Leave it to New York to have such a fun and unusla place. There are crazy shows happeneing all the time and actors dressed as members of the club roaming around and mingling with the customers. Food is nothing to brag about great atmosphere. 11/9/2006

If you are looking for great food, this is not the place for you. Prices are way out of control for what you get, no free refills on beverages and they only take American Express so bring plenty of cash. Kids meal are 12.50 a pop. Average price for a burger is 15.95. Service was SLOOOOOOOOOOW.... If you have kids they will love it, many things going on. Very dark inside. Not worth a return trip. Batman Loved it!! 9/27/2006

This was our first time to the city, so you can imagine after a long day of walking the streets and taking in the tourist sites, my six year old was very tired and cranky. A family friend who was acting as our guide recommended the Jekyll and Hyde Club. We arrived just before the crowd so things were looking good. At first my son was a little nervous, as he gets scared of the halloween things during this time of year. Just before we got there, he had been given a batman action set. He was nervous and shy not to mention cranky until he transformed himself into Batman. He and the hosts/hostesses had my wife, our friend/tour guide and me almost in hysterical laughter with their witty remarks. My wife and I really enjoyed watching our son have such a good time. I recommend this place as a sit down, rest your feet, get some food and close out the day for you children type of place. My son told me later, ""I really liked that place, but Batman loved it!"" Only take the kids 9/9/2006

Went there the other night with my g/f and another couple because we thought that it would be a fun place, but we were wrong. The place is very sketchy looking. The shows were very lame. I've had better food in diners. And overall it's a place that you can only take the kids to, because they are the only ones that might enjoy it. But otherwise DON'T GO THERE! Cons: many more

Fun for all 1/9/2006

We visited the Jekyll and Hyde Club on holiday. We had a rather large party of ten. The wait outside to get in was 45 minutes. The staff handed out complimentary hot chocolate. Waiting on the long line was absolutely worth it! Our kids had the best time of their entire holiday in this amazing restaurant. The server was all smiles and actually thanked us for waiting on line and explained all the different floors and their individual themes. The members walking around were witty-friendly and had our entire table laughing. The food was tasty with healthy size portions. This will be our first stop next time in NYC. WOW! THIS PLACE IS SO MUCH FUN! 1/5/2006

We had always heard so much about Jekyll and Hyde but never tried it before. I am so glad that we did. It is so much fun from the first moment you enter the door. I felt like I was in the Haunted Mansion in Disney World and Twlight Zone Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster all in one. What a show! 4 different floors all with their owncool things going on. My kids favourite was the Seance show in the Library. We really enjoyed our food too! I had a veggie burger, my wife had teh salmon and my kids had pizza and chicken fingers. Not recommended! The best part of our night was the small cup of hot chocolate that we received while waiting in line to get into the restaurant. Our waiter was terrible. He should have taken the time to write down the orders, then maybe we would have actually received what we ordered. My boyfriend received a different drink than what he ordered. I received potato chips instead of the french fries I ordered. My boyfriend's burger bun was so soggy he couldn't eat it. It took forever to get anything you asked for. The place wasn't clean. If you sit in the ""Attic"" section, you miss all of the good shows that are going on below you. The actors try to draw your attention away from the better stuff that is happening below. Listen, if you have kids and arent a stick in the mud type this place is a total blast. If you are expecting gourmet food, or you are an adult on a date.. what the hell are you doing here. The place is a lot of fun. My six year old loved it. The characters really make for an enjoyable experience. The food however, is what one might expect. It is very overpriced and not very tasty. However, I think Jeckll and Hydes t is one of those places that is fun to do once. We had a good time. more

I had a grat time at Jekyll and Hyde! I loved everythig about it-especially the shows and actors. Our server was very helpful and friendly. I am bringing my whole family back next time.
