Great, but... 4/26/2011

This is a great nursery. They are small but organized. Prices are a bit higher than other larger garden stores in town. The only negative comment I have is, they are really stingy with any kind of discount. They hold so tight onto their money, which is understandable nowadays, but they could be losing more money because prices may be lower somewhere else. If they matched other garden store coupons and prices they'd be giving and receiving at the same time. Jarad's: You can't receive with a closed fist. more

Great selection 5/25/2010

We had great luck finding everything we wanted at Jared's on two occasions. The staff are friendly and helpful, almost all of the plants were in fantastic condition. Prices are somewhat high but if you want quality you have to pay the price. more

GREAT SELECTION OF HEALTHY TREES 3/31/2008

I bought a few Aspens and a Canadian Cherry tree from Jareds. It is now a year later and all 4 Aspens and the Cherry tree are all flourishing.The staff was friendly and knowledgable and the prices were great. They planted my treesw and a got a warranty on the trees.Overall a very good experience. I will go back again to purchase more trees and bushes. more

Some of the best looking annuals in town 6/28/2005

Jared's is a smaller, neighborhood nursery whose strong point is annuals. They do have a reasonable selection of perennials and some shrubs, but annuals is why we go to Jared's. Prices are in line with other local nurseries. more

lots of choices right there 6/12/2005

Jareds off Bowles & Kipling has expanded to encompass a lot of tree acreage with great choices. They also have answered bug & problem questions on my mature yard & landscape items. Good showroom for the extras. more

Jared's Garden Center 4/20/2005

This garden center is not worth your time going there. The plants are in small pot and pretty root bound. There is a good selection of shrubs and trees but I dont have any experience with them. The perennials I bought last year, where small and the beginning but did not grow as fast as some bought from another store. PROS: Easy to get to CONS: Sad plants more
