Best healthcare 3/31/2007

Janice's professional experience is evident in her wholistic healthcare approach. The atmosphere is of relaxation and she prescribes preventative measures before the next visit. She understands the anatomy and works the areas where I store physical and emotional stress. I was referred to her after an accident and could not imagine going without care in the future. I can tell a difference in how I walk and carry my neck and shoulders. She is healthy and a product of "walk the talk". I am a believer in actions are better than words and Janice knows her stuff!. I highly recommend her friendly and caring service. Pros: Professionalism, relaxed environment, accessible parking Cons: none more

Great Massage! 3/30/2007

Janice's massages are like magic. The tension in my neck and shoulders just goes away. Per Janice's words, I'm a 'bobble-head', when she's done! Janice is quite strong, and can really dig deep. So the result is incredibly satisfying. The setting is calm, peaceful, relaxing, comfortable, safe. And it's quiet. I don't want to talk much nor hear much talking, and am SO pleased that this is 'par for the course'. I won a gift certificate for one massage by Janice at my kid's school auction, and boy I'm glad I did. I look so forward to our appointments, that I don't know I managed before! Pros: Comfortable setting, friendly attitude, professional service. Cons: There are none! more

Fabulous massage! 3/29/2007

Janice McClure gives the best massage I've had - and I've had a lot! She is friendly and professional, promptly returns calls, and doesn't keep you waiting. The massage room has a clean, calming, private atmosphere. Best of all, I leave my massage feeling relaxed and pampered. Awesome! more

Very effective and relaxing massage 3/29/2007

I have been seeing Janice after an auto accident for nearly 7 months. She is good and knowledgeable and alongwith the massage recommends various stretching exercises suitable for different problems. I have noticed that I feel very relaxed and energetic after the massage. I would highly recommend Janice for either a relaxing massage or treatment after an injury. She is also very punctual and friendly and always greets you with a smile. Go for it and try it for yourself! Pros: Service Cons: None more

Massage Relief 3/27/2007

I have been seeing Janice for a couple of years on a regular basis. I started seeing her at my chiropractor's office and then continued after she went out on her own. There were several other massage therapists that had been with my chiropractor and then left. Janice is the only one I stayed with. She's an excellent massage therapist and I always feel better after I have seen her. She provides satisfying deep-tissue massage. Not every massage therapist really understands what deep-tissue massage really is, whatever their training. Janice clearly understands. If its not deep-tissue that you're into, she also does what I call "foo-foo" massage, the more surface, gentle relaxation type of massage. Occasionally, that's all I want. As long as Janice continues practicing massage therapy, I'll be seeing her. Pros: Excellent deep-tissue massage more

Absolutely the best massage I've ever had!!! 3/14/2007

Of all the massage therapists I've been to over the years, she is hands-down (no pun intended), the best. Until I visited Ms. McClure's office, I had no idea that you could get such complete relief from one session. I try to visit my family in Seattle a couple of times each year, and an appointment with her is now a permanent part of my itinerary. My only regret is that she doesn't have an office on the East coast! more

Hands Down The Best 3/13/2007

I've been a massage patient or client for years but have only in the last few months been a client of Janice's - now she's stuck with me. I always thought you were suppose to leave your appointment with soreness in your neck and ears, the nap (because she's not talking the entire time) is great and now I leave wanting to rush home and continue to relax and enjoy the feeling ? I keep thinking that if I?m her last appointment of the day I can just stay ? unfortunately that hasn?t happened yet. I always wonder how she knows exactly which part of my body to work on and how much pressure to use without me telling her. She?s magic! I currently see Janice due to an auto accident but will definitely continue to see her on a regular basis even after I'm released by my doctor. I've been to other massage therapist for injury purposes as well as for relaxation; as an injury patient I was treated like a ?patient? rather than a client restricted to "business hours" only and none of the little extra touches i.e. offered water, advice or maybe even a quick demonstration of appropriate exercises. Janice has flexible hours for ALL her patient/clients, there seems to be no distinction between the clients she sees. Not only is Janice top shelf in talent but customer service as well! A 10+ more

She's the best-- hands down! hee hee 2/19/2007

I've been to lots of massage therapists, and I have to say that Janice is TOPS! She's knowledgeable and has what I call "tissue sense".. maybe that's not a real term but it defines her abitlity to feel what needs to be worked on, how deeply to go, and then of course, she has the ability to do it. Unlike other massage therapists she isn't talking all the time, and when I speak to other patients of hers, many of them say they fall asleep! (I just drool). I always look forward to her massages... they are the highlight of my week. She's tough when she has to, but communicates it before the torture begins. It's enough to know you were worked on, and sometimes I'm a "good kind of sore" when I leave. Her hours are split between a chiropractor's office (who I also visit -see Dr. Carr) and her own office in Greenwood. She's flexible for her hours, too. Pros: Strong hands, good brains, good listener Cons: Massages aren't free. more
