From the office manager:\r I am saddened to hear you have such strong words towards our business. It is never our intention to make someone feel ""stupid"" as you put it. Part of your review is correct: yes, you did call at exactly 4:42pm, and yes you are correct about me stating you would be a better fit for another practice. The phone call started with you calling to make an appointment for your spouse. I asked what he needed to come in for and proceeded to tell you my next late afternoon appointment would be on February 21st. The conversation progressed as normal; you told me the insurance information and began to tell me you made an appointment for yourself at another dental office on the 16th of February. You also asked me if in 6 months the both of you come to my office, can you both be seen on the exact same day. I politely explained to you that I don't know your benefits and the frequencies between the 2 insurance companies could be different. At that point, you said an inappropriate word to me (one I don't wish upon anyone) and I politely asked you not to use that word on the phone with me. You became very argumentative with me because I didn't know the frequencies of 2 different insurances and I ended the conversation stating ""I feel you would be a better fit with another dental practice."" I have been in dentistry for over 13 years and not once have I been treated with the disrespect you had for me when all I was trying to do was help make an appointment. Also, anyone who knows this practice and the employees in this practice know we do not rush our conversations with them. We stay late if necessary and we come in early if need be. It is pure speculation on your part that I ""rushed"" the phone conversation because I didn't close at 5pm that day. We hope you find a practice that well suits your needs and wish you the best of luck.\r more

I recently moved to the Heights from the Cypress area and was looking for a new dentist so I Googled ""dentists in 77008"" and found this place. In an effort to get my whole family on the same dental cleaning schedule, I called them to see if my and my husbands insurance would allow us to do that. After the lady was rude and trying to rush me off the phone because it was close to 5PM, she then proceeded to treat me as if I was incompetent after I just explained to her that I understood we had different insurances. She was very rude and because we were not on the same page about the insurances, instead of trying to help me, she suggested I find a different dentist. I will NEVER suggest any of my Heights friends or neighbors to visit them, since you can't even get past the first phone call with them without being treated like you are stupid. Bad bad business.... more

In response to ""if you dont spend money with them""...It's ridiculous to assume they are trying to stick you with non-existent charges because you've have ""free"" visits in the past. more

Best Service Ever!!!!! 6/24/2011

I was very impressed when I visited Dr. Neshan's office. The entire staff was very nice and explained every bit of my procedure in detail. I normally do not write reviews on medical/dental offices but I felt the need when I read the previous review. I did not have that experience at all. Everyone knows in this day and age, offices have to cover themselves by putting every type of complication that could arise, chances are nothing will happen. With my experience, I was given a consent form when I checked in and the lady at the front told me to read over the consent form and if I had an questions, the assistant and the doctor would be able to answer them for me. I didn't have any questions and my procedure went well. I even received a follow up call the next day to check on me. I have never had that done before. If there were 10 stars to give I would definitely give it to this office. Dr. Neshan-thank you for making my visit wonderful. You definitely have a patient for life. more

The dental appointment that never was 6/23/2011

At first I was encouraged to hope I'd found a knowledgeable, empathetic dental practice. Not so. I had an appointment for a deep cleaning, a necessary procedure and, at first, I thought I was in good hands. The first hurdle, of course, was my signing a waiver stating that the treatment was not guaranteed, there might be complications, swelling, etc. Then there was a clause about a possibility of ""cardiac collapse."" What was that?! As a layman, I thought of ""heart attack,"" but if so, why not just write this out. To be safe, I asked not one, but TWO of Neshan's staff members and NEITHER OF THEM COULD ANSWER MY QUESTION! They were willing to have me sign a waiver but could not tell me precisely what risks I was agreeing to run. The receptionist went as far as to shrug and say ""I don't know!"" as if I were asking her something so far beyond the ordinary. more

In response to ""if you dont spend money with them"" 4/7/2011

We are in network with many insurance companies allowing us to serve more of the community. Being in network allows patients to pay a lower rate rather than going to an out of network doctor. We advise patients to come every 3, 4, or 6 months depending on their oral health. Missing a scheduled appointment or not coming as frequently as advised by the dentist can cause a patients treatment to change. We are very pro active in our patients? health and want the best for them. We can only do so much and the rest is up to the patient. more

if you dont spend money with them they dont want your busine 3/31/2011

went there because my old dentist was no longer in network so these people were cheaper. going there for a year or 2 .then since i did not spend any money over the 2 free cleanings. they say that they cant help me untill i pay the portion the insurance wont pay for additional services. you dont want to wast your time with them!!!!!!!! go somewere else there are only 35 or more other dentists or more in there area! more

I'm 13, and I like going to see my Dentist, Dr.Neshan. 4/29/2010

Dr. Neshan takes her time cleaning my teeth. She's never hurt me because she is very gentle. She always asks if I need more water, or if I need to rest my jaw. She's very nice! She told me I had great teeth, and I should floss everyday. My sister and I like that she gives us a new toothbrush! Dr. Neshan knows my favorite color is Green. Dr. Neshan is very Cool and pretty too. Pros: Dr. Neshan is AMAZING!! Cons: NO CONS more

Dr. Neshan and her Staff are the Absolute BEST!!! 4/29/2010

I first met Dr. Neshan and her staff (Jill & Beth) a little over a year ago, after not seeing a dentist in a few years. (far more than I'd like to admit). ---for the simple reason: I do not like to experience PAIN----Yikes!! Pros: Dr. Neshan really cares about her patients. Cons: Nothing bad....all good. more

Finally a dentist who cares!!! 3/25/2010

I never knew you could have a pleasant experience at a dentist office. Loved the staff, very professional and experienced. I would recommend this office to anyone who is terrified of dentists, your experience will be great, just like mine was. I had a crown and root canal done and had very little discomfort. They took great care of me and I was back to work the very next day with no discomfort and they even checked on me to make sure I was ok. In this day and age that never happens. Thank you Dr. Ney and staff for all you have done. Pros: best dentist in h-town Cons: None so far more

Now I feel at home 9/17/2009

I just moved back to the Heights after living out in west Houston for 20 years. Loved my dentist there, but not as much as I hate Houston traffic. Checked with some of my neighbors for a dentist in the area and Dr. Neshan's name came up a few times, so I figured she was worth a try. She was worth the try. The commute is definitely better. It also worked out great because I have a weird schedule and she has like one late night a week and is open a Saturday or two a month. Those two things defniitely were high marks, but it just kind of put the topping on the cake when she turned out to be great. Let's just say I've been to dentists enough times to know how it feels when one cares and knows what they're doing, and Dr. Neshan does. She took time with me, even though I was late for my appointment. This was her late night, but she didn't rush and took the time and care to get to know me. That's important to me and I just think others ought to know. I don't know if I moved back to Katy that I would commute, but I would certainly give it more thought than I did to my other dentist. Definitely worth checking out. Pros: Professional, office hours, location more

Most Caring Dentist & Staff 9/2/2009

I have not been to a dentist in a long time, over 10 years. I was terrified to even pick up the phone to contact a dental office. I found Dental Innovations while searching the net. When I made that terrifying call, I was immediately at ease when the receptionist picked up the phone, it was like she knew me. I was able to be seen that same day, WOW! I went into the office and the staff was terrific. Dr. Neshan and her assistant (not sure of her name) were very patient and understanding. They did not make me feel bad for not being seen by a dentist in such a long time. I will definitely be back. T Pros: Friendly, Able to be seen immediately Cons: None yet!! more
