OK, I have traveled literally around the world and got my haircut in lots of different cities from New York to Istanbul to Hong Kong to London, but I have never had someone cut my hair and color it EXACTLY the way I wanted before I met Danne. The two times I went to him - once for a full-head coloring - and the other time for soft bangs, he looked at the photos of what I wanted and he replicated it. I made an appointment with Danne at Infuse out of sheer desperation. My last cutter didn't get what I wanted despite showing her pictures and being touted as a cutter for short hairstyles. Danne discussed my pictures, asked lots of questions and seemed to know my hair as well as I. He cut with a technique I'd never had before and I love it. It turned out perfectly. I am completely won over. He also used a styling product that was so totally awesome it will now be my fave styling product ever. love love love these guys. more

I recently had my hair colored by Danne. I was very happy with the over all experience and results. Danne is a professional when it comes to hair coloring. He had an extensive consultation with me to make sure I received the hair color I wanted. The color came out fantastic and I am very happy with the results. I recently had Danne cut, color and highlight my naturally curly hair. I'd been quite spoiled by my stylist in NC who was also Oribe-trained, and she suggested I try Danne after I'd had good but not great experiences at another HNL salon since moving here a year ago. I'm so glad I did. Danne spent time explaining how and why I would need to break my base to achieve the light, bright color I had years ago. The cut and base color turned out better than I had hoped, but I was still wanting the bright blond highlights I'd had in my older picture. After seeing how my hair looked when I styled it and knowing I was longing for something a bit more, I emailed Danne and Ariel (his assistant) and they scheduled me to come back the following afternoon. It's really hard to find someone who's good with short hair and gives it style... not just a cut. After several trials and errors my search is over. I'm older but didn't want an ""old lady"" type haircut. I got a short, hip, somewhat spiky, easy care, modern haircut and I love it, and what's more my husband said he likes it and that's saying a lot. He doesn't dispense with complements easily. I will definitely go back again. Danne and his assistant are worth every penny. She gives a great scalp massage while washing your hair. I moved to the island about 2 months ago. My hair is black with blonde almost platinum colored highlights. I've been told by numerous people that hair salons here cannot get it that color, and I wasn't going to settle for brassy-yellow colored highlights. So I googled tons of hair salons and came across Infuse Hair Design's website along with numerous positive ratings. Long story short.. I was extremely satisfied with the outcome! Danne is thorough and his attention to detail is impressive. Very professional without being pretentious. I also needed a trim and the layers he put in my hair were amazing. I want to clarify, my Mom is a hairstylist and has been doing my hair all my life for the most part. She will always be the best hair stylist to me, biased I know! We live in Los Angeles and I consider myself pretty fashionable and discriminating when it comes to style. While on a vacation I decided to change my hairstyle and couldn't wait until I got home. My Mom owns a great salon with eight trendy stylists. The hair business has always been a part of my life. Anyway, my husband had meetings all day so I googled Honolulu hair stylist and found Infuse Hair Design. Danne, the owner of Infuse cut and colored my hair. It was the best my hair has ever looked! Hope my Mom doesn't see this! We were out at the beach, hiking and surfing. I must have blow-dried it only once. It moves much better than when my Mom would layer it. He used a razor and scissor to cut it. He's really great cutting texture into hair. It dries naturally better than ever. And the color is even shinier and softer than before I colored it. Danne said it was a new ""demi-glaze"" or something. The color is sort of chestnut brown, which is what I generally do, but somehow it is more sexy! I think it's a bit deeper or richer or something, even my husband said it looks better than when Mom does it. And she is a certified Loreal Color Instructor. I'm was so impressed by the way he seemed to be so detailed, yet relaxed. Absolutely my best hair style yet! We are coming back at Christmas so I can see Danne again! Yeah! I have always had a hard time with Beauty Salons because my hair is not easy to tame. My hair is very thick and on good days somewhere between curly and frizzy. I searched online for something different then your usual haircut. I was blessed to find Danne Todt who owns Infusion Hair Design. I am living in Honolulu and travel the world extensively, often in search of a new stylist wherever I happen to be. Meeting a new stylist and having them 'get it' is often an experiment - we girls know what a treasured part of our entourage a great stylist can be! I met Danne Todt through his website, one of the first hits of my search and a great online personality of chic & professional mixed with great style and design. If my hair will be treated with the same design & care as this great website, then I'm in! GOOD first impression! I requested an appointment during one of the busiest weekends of the year, knowing that on the mainland I often have to book with 4-6 weeks minimum notice! Danne responded that he couldn't fit me in during the up-coming weekend (only a few days away; and marathon + holiday traffic at that!) but to be sure that I had an option for my requested day he was so kind as to offer to refer me to another stylist. I assume that a recommendation like that, ie. he potentially loses a new client to this 'other' stylist, meant that MY needs were put first. GREAT second impression! In no need for urgency, I scheduled an appointment the following weekend, with Danne, and had the best experience. He listened (and REALLY listened) to my long list of likes and dislikes, my challenges with curly wanna-be blonde in this humid climate, and all of my product questions to cure the many bad-hair-day-ailments. As a result, I have great color (hair painting application) and a whole new product line to explore (he gave me a sample to try instead of pushing product which is so refreshing!). And, I am excited to trust him with my next hair-cut after brainstorming what would be best for ME and feeling confident that he can deliver. I saw Danne for a haircut about a year ago and was quite satisfied with the result but could not afford to keep seeing him. However, recently I received an email from him inviting to make an appointment for an updo given that the holidays were coming up. Granted I knew it was a blanket email he must've sent to all previous clients but since I had a ball coming up, I made an appointment online. I then received an email back that he wanted me to call him. I gave him a call and was taken back by his response. He asked what I wanted to get done so I told him an updo for a formal event. He then said he only does updos for particular clients and refered me to another stylist. I felt like I just got slapped in the face! If he is particular about his clients, then why did I receive an email to make an appt. for an updo? This was a very unpleasant experience to say the least! Pros: Online appointment service more

Danne is a very talented hair cutter and a very nice person. I was in Honolulu for a week and Danne added tremendously to how I looked and how I kicked off my vacation. Most enjoyable person to relate to--very creative, friendly and intelligent. My hair is thick and wavy. Danne had never seen my hair before but he didn't need to because of his long experience. He layered and texturized and made my hair look really good. The last thing he did was apply a brush and blowdryer to my bangs just to add a bit of something something to the style. He swept the long bangs to the side--a bit of straightness in otherwise curly hair. It was the finishing touch on one of the best hair cuts I've ever had. The price was worth it, every penny. After going to Danne for over 5 years now, I can say I haven't had a haircut that didn't last at least 4 months. Granted my long straight hair will get flat after a few months, I always get compliments, by men and women. Sometimes the compliments come the day before my next cut! Sometimes I blow dry, mostly I don't. My hair looks great either way. I use Bumble & Bumble's Brilliantine, which Danne recommended for me. My husband wouldn't let me go to anyone else. He said, ""Danne is worth every penny""! Even though he just goes to Supercuts! Jason also said my hair looks sexier than it used to! That's enough for me! Pros: Cuts last long! Soft & Sexy styles! it's been months since i got my cut with danne. his cuts start at $80 for new clients and $68 after that. after reading such amazing reviews i decided to give him a try. i have super straight asian hair and he said the razor would give it more texture and volume. i remember loving the cut but after several months, it really wasn't great. granted, your'e supposed to get your hair cut every 2 months? i cant afford cutting my hair that often if it's going to cost $80 or $68. during my session with danne, i told him i wanted to keep the length of my hair because i was a bridesmaid for my friends' wedding and wanted to be able to style it. he did keep the length, but there really wasn't anything to work with since he had razored so many layers into it. when i put my hair up, i had one of those little scrawny pony tails with nothing in it. that's one thing i didn't like from the razor. i recently got my hair cut at j salon and loved it just as much as i loved the cut with danne. i just hope that this cut will last longer. side note: danne does cut amazing bangs. i never had to blow dry them... i just swept them to the side and let them air dry. I went to Danne, and to be honest I am always very apprehensive about going to new salons, because the texture of my hair is so baby fine, I've had way more bad luck then good. I went to Danne, he asked me what I wanted..I showed him a photo out of one of his books he had at the Salon, I told him I know he wasn't going to be able to get it exactly like the photo..because of the texture of my hair,...and low and behold he worked his magic and I am not kidding..my hair looked JUST like the girl in the photo!!!! He made me very comfortable, he's got a GREAT sense of humor and he really takes his time. I will be going back! When I got home, my fiance couldn't keep his eyes off me!
