My 17lb Fox Terrier hurt her foot last night. I took her to this vet because it was on the South side. If I would have just called my vet first, I would have known ahead of time that they recommend the emergency on the West side (quite a long drive, but now I see why). The place was empty, my dog was the only one to be seen. The Dr. came in and examined my dog, and said that she needed to take her to the back to do an orthopedic exam and xrays on her leg. I felt that the xray was ok, but she just examined her right in front of me. (I agreed) my dog was in pain if her foot was touched, but was resting comfortable with us holding her. They took her to another room, 1 1/2 hrs later, the Dr. said she felt a fracture in her foot, and they will do the xray, and give her pain meds. (it would cost 423.00). So, we are still waiting, now it has been 3 1/2 hrs, I start to get nervous, and demand to see my dog. They took me to the back where I find my dog in a cage with an E collar, pant
