Meltdown Comics & Collectibles 3/10/2006

This is pretty much the best comic store in the country. They have a great selection of classic toys and they have some pretty sweet Asian DVDs. I just love going here and browsing through comics or even buying one or two. Staff is very helpful and prices are reasonable. more

Meltdown Comics--good folks, good store 11/30/2005

Meltdown Comics is a nice, modern comic book store in a fairly safe part of Sunset Boulevard right on the verge of West Hollywood. They have all kinds of comics, with the staff seeming particuarly enthusiastic about alternative comics. They are good neighbors with the community--they have sponsored programs with the public library and have book signings and other in-store events. Friendly enough for kids, but somewhere adults can go and feel normal, too. more

Cool collectibles 8/22/2005

Meltdown Comics is a shop that carries toys as well as collectible toys. They also have comic books and magazines. Their more collectible items are in the glass cases and is for sale. They also have a section of their store where they sell French Kitty apparel and accessories. Meltdown Comics is not located in the best neighorhoods. I suggest coming here during the day to look for your collectibles. more

Imagine...a classy and clean comic shop! 8/20/2005

I have frequented many comic shops in my day, and by and large they have for the most part been pretty laid back establishments where cleanliness and "the look" of the place where all but ignored. But this place is so nice and clean and new looking. I was so impressed the first time that I visited. It is such a great looking place. The employees are really friendly whether you are there to spend 1K on some old comic, or just to browse the store, they treat with lots of respect and kindness. more
