After going to 2 other places that wanted to charge me $500+ to fix my car door lock, I made an appointment at Hollywood to see if they could fix it. Not only did they quote me a much lower price than the other 2 shops, but Joe, the owner, offered me 2 options - and as he was doing this, his mechanic told him he was able to fix the door lock - no charge!!! Amazing!!! And my brother came by while I was waiting and asked a question about his own car, and they were able to offer a cost effective option for him as well. These guys are the real deal...and the office is like walking into a living room - complete with a fireplace, coffee, books...I am extremely pleased with their honesty and service...I will be back!! more

I can never say enough good things about this business, the employees and the owner. If you have a car and it needs to be repaired you could NOT do better than coming here. Your car will thank you! This is the BEST place - high quality work, fair, friendly, kind, and they've even got a super comfortable waiting room if you have to hang out and wait for your car to be fixed. LOVE THESE GUYS!!!! more

These guys really know what they're doing. You can trust them to get the job done right. They ask questions, listen to you, and explain what they've done to solve your problem. I used to believe you had to go to the dealer for truly expert repair. Not anymore. Hollywood is the place to go. more

Chicago roads take their toll on all vehicles, including the family Buick. Joe and his staff did their analysis. explained what needed to be done, then prioritized the needed repairs. I live on a budget. ao, it took several appointments to correct things. But now we have a serviceable vehicle.again, thanks to Hollywood. more

In my experience, most mechanics don't miss an opportunity to up-charge you when they can. Joe at Hollywood Auto is different, and I'm very pleased. A repair that could have cost me $700 -- and that I, honestly, expected to cost that much -- instead cost me $300 because Joe identified a much simpler fix. He gave me estimates for both options, but when I asked if the cheaper option would take care of the problem he didn't hesitate to say it would. Not just great and affordable service, honest service too. more

Oil change and tire rotation 10/2/2017

I had foot surgery a couple of days before and Hollywood Services got me out ASAP! They only charged me for the oil change. Hollywood Services ROCKS!! I am a long time customer and they always take care of me. Big hug! more
