There's a lot of hype surrounding Holiday Inn these days, thanks to its aggressive promotional media campaign. Even though it enjoys a nice location, the Holiday Inn @ N.Orleans St. (Chicago) is one of the most inaccessible hotels for people with disabilities that I've ever been to. For example, it's a long way from where you park your car to the elevator that will get you to the lobby (on the 14th floor). Then, you need to take another elevator to get to your room. The lobby looks luxurious, but the rooms are a disappointment. We just won't consider it again when we return to Chicago (which we do every year due to business).
Pros: location, downtown Chicago
Cons: Handicap INaccesible, old and musty rooms
