Long Distance Short Time 11/30/2010

We needed our stuff I wanted it before Thanksgiving well we got our stuff a day before which was perfect. However at the start of the move there was some miscommunication that got squared away and now we have our stuff from SC to CA in 11 days isn't bad with stops along the way for other customers. The price was great however I wish I was a little less for the extra space if needed in the truck however it was great. Thanks Hercules moving systems! more

Came thru for me 9/27/2010

I had originally set up another moving company for my uncle's move from Pasadena to Palm Desert. They flaked on us and we needed a new mover immediately. I found Hercules online. After I requested a quote online they contacted me immediately. The quote was cheaper than the other moving company. Mike was so helpful and was in constant contact with. The day before the move they called me to let me know the driver was coming. The only minor problem I had was with dispatch not being organized in telling me when the items were to be delivered. But they were friendly. The drivers were so helpful and friendly. I would use them again. more

I recently moved from San Francisco to Chicago. After a few moving disasters I was hesitant about every moving company that I spoke with. Mike was really friendly and answered all of my questions. He sent me a quote with every detail in writing. The men that picked up my furniture and boxes in SF were extremely professional, efficient, and friendly. My things had to remain in storage for about 2 months before I was ready for them to be delivered. When my belongings arrived in Chicago my boxes were in great shape, and my furniture had been well protected. My belongings arrived well within the time frame that I had expected, and once again, the men that delivered my items were extremely professional, fast, and organized. Overall, I am really pleased with the entire experience and grateful to Hercules that my move was so easy. more

Good moving company_good staffs 9/1/2010

I moved from Seattle to Florida, and overrall it was a good service, reasonable price and all my moving stuffs were good condition. There is delay problem, but I paid exactly estimated price. If you aware of delay about moving company, this company is overrall good. I got all my moving on Aug 24th in 2010. I would like to say that I am so satisfied all the staff's kind and great help. Josh Filyan Your Relocation Specialist Originally I reserved another moving company, and they did not show up. The last minute, Josh helped me to make a reservation for moving with your company. Great help. Sara Sazama I did not get any update after I sent my stuff to your storage space. I tried to call to your company several time and sent many E-mails, but I did not get any response. Once Sara contacted me, she took care of chaning delivery address, making storage fee payment and noticing driver. It was great. After Sare helped me, I could trust your company again. Darrell Driver He delayed with his truck problem, but he contacted me before he came and helped to check and move all my stuff. He was kind and helpful. I think your company has so many good people and I am happy to get moving service from your company. Only my feedback is that the problem of delay and the communication with customers. I totally understand the delay, but the customers want to know how long they need to wait. They can make another plan or they don't need wait all day long with too much worries. On pick-up day, the driver told me that he would come at 2pm, next 5pm, next 7pm, and he did not know when he would come. Finally he came midnight. Anyway I was happy that he finally came, but I did not expect his long delay. I think your company need to explain the big possibilty of delay and make schedule more reasonable. If I know that last day of moving is so busy, I would like to pick another day. If I know the driver comes to midnight, I do not worry about not coming, keep calling in 10 hours. Same thing happened that delivery day. The driver called me that he would come morning, but he came around 7pm. It would be great if he told me that he would come evening. I did not need to stay all day long for the moving truck. Overrall I am happy about choosing your company. I hope my feedbacks help to improve your service. more

Pleasant and efficient moving company 8/23/2010

I used Hercules Moving Systems for a local move in California and the crew was very helpful and careful while moving my furniture. I was recommend by a friend but was a little skeptical of hiring the company because of their reviews, but my friend made me more at ease sharing her experience with me. I decided to contract Hercules Moving Systems for my local move and I was very satisfied with the sales team and moving crew. The pricing was very reasonable and I would definitely recommend to anyone that's moving. more

Professional & Prompt Service 8/16/2010

I had scheduled a pickup with Hercules Van Lines for my move from Minneapolis, MN to Costa Mesa, CA and frankly speaking I was little apprehensive moving my household items with them after reading some of the negative comments about this company. However, I was pleasantly surprised with them and not only did they move all my items (without breakage) within the time frame, they also did the service very professionally. The movers were very courteous and helpful. They took real good care of some of the expensive items I had without any breakage. After reading so many negative reviews from multiple users, I am of the opinion that moving can be a nightmare for some and can be pretty smooth for some of them. Luckily I was from the latter group. I would recommend using Hercules for your upcoming move if you want a real good prize for the items you want to move and have it done professionally. more

STAY AWAY from Hercules Moving System 7/28/2010

STAY AWAY from Hercules Moving System, LA! (MC 619135) This company is a NIGHTMARE! My move from LA to the northeast has been plagued with terrible and costly problems. Despite email and phone confirmation – on the day my stuff was to be picked up – no one from Hercules Moving System showed up. I called all day. No one answered any of the phone numbers. A full day and a half late, they showed up. This meant I did not fly out of town to my new job when I was supposed to. I incurred the expense of renting my place an extra day, staying an extra night in a hotel to wait for them, canceling non-refundable plane tickets, and boarding my pets an extra night. No one at Hercules cared. Lydia, the Dispatch Manager, is sarcastic, and rarely follows through. In the rare event you reach her by phone, she states you can not speak with anyone in the company about a problem, delivery confirmation, etc. Only her. She rarely answers her phone, voice mailbox is too full to leave a message, and she does not respond to important emails despite having received them. She told me to put my complaint in an email and if she deems it appropriate she will forward it on to the CEO who will respond. I did. She claimed to have forwarded it. No one ever contacted me. Absolutely no one at this company cares. When leaving after 1 ½ mo. storage to have my items moved to my new home, I sent THREE requests for delivery on a specific date. I gave them 16 days advance notice as they requested. Again, no one answered my email request. On day eight, I was informed me they never received the request, I had to give another full 16 days. When I objected I the clerk groaned and told me to “read my contract”, which they were not following. I filled out a request for delivery form, sent it with yet another email, and again, no response! I copied the email to four other people in the company – my original salesperson (in hiding), another person who gave me a quote once, a customer service person, and general email address. NO ONE responded. Lydia told me to put my request for delivery first in my email, then my complaint. IF, I did it in reverse, it was unlikely anyone would read all the way through the complaint and get to the request for delivery. That pretty much says it all about this company. If anything goes wrong – they will avoid you like the plague. They do not problem solve and probably have so many complains they are inundated. This CEO should hang his head in shame. It’s appalling how Hercules Moving System treats customers. Disgraceful! When I finally got through to one of the others who I had copies my email to, she acknowledged she had the form. Then, wanted to begin the 16 day waiting period as of that day. When I pointed out they already had been notified eight days ago, it meant nothing. They start the clock whenever they want. When I asked for a confirmation of my delivery date… I was put on hold only to then be told they had no trucks going to my part of the country. They could not say when my stuff would leave. So, they couldn’t say when it would arrive. I would have to wait until a truck was going that direction. They had no idea of time frame. Do yourself a favor. No matter what you are quoted (and it will be more than that) DO NOT use this company. I have no idea when I will ever see my belongings, if the promised call will ever come from customer service so I can file a complaint, or what condition my stuff will be in when I see it. I would gladly pay TWICE what this cost me if it meant dealing with a reputable, honest company - which Hercules Moving System is not. Run away while you still can! Cons: Irresponsible, incompetent co. No customer service. more
