Casual wild game place in Brooklyn Heights. This unpretentious place don't have much in terms of atmosphere, but the wait staff are very friendly, and the menu is pretty special. The regular menu has some outstanding duck dishes (my favorite)... As great as duck is, it is very rare that you see a non-Asian restaurant really know what to do with this succulent bird. I mean, the French use it well in cassoulet & as a detail in other dishes. On good day, other restaurants may make some good but overly refined version of this bird, but usually in tiny portions. Henry's End gives you a nice large piece of duck, and fearlessly goes for it. It's not just big, it's yummy! Otherwise, this place specializes in wild game, so you'll always find something unexpected an interesting on the specials. Worth the trip. Take a walk on the Promenade afterward, if you're looking for an after dinner constitutional.
