overpriced but fun 4/2/2006

Everything here is overpriced, but I guess it pays for the up keep. Its a fun waterpark and its enjoyable. the slides are all fun and I enjoy that they normally keep it interesting. The cliffhanger is probably the most talked about because it just goes straight down. I personally am a wimp and I enjoy the slides the best. They absolutely are great when you go down with friends. The only issue is take lots of sunscreen because you'll probably get burned. more

Slip and Sliding! 12/31/2005

Fun for the whole family! There are many different type of slides from one for the kids to the super steep ones for the thrill seekers. If you have a few people with you don't forget to try out the SHAKA. It's one of the funnest slides at Hawaiian Waters. If you decide to go, look for discount coupons in the Waikiki Best coupon book. I personally believe that it's a little too expensive to go without a discount coupon. more

Swimming fun 12/29/2005

The only water park on the island of Oahu, even at a pricey $35, it is worth it for that special event. They do offer $5 coupon discounts once in a while so if you can wait until then, at least you can save some money. There is a separate place for the kiddies to play that offers them kiddie water slides, little mushroom shaped waterfalls, and water shooting out from the ground here and there. For adults and big kids, there is a wave pool with donuts you can hold onto when the waves start. It gets crowded in the wave pool and is hard to get a donut so if you get one, don't let go unless you really don't want it. A favorite is the Cliffhanger but you have to take a long walk up and the ground is hot but the slide down is worth it. If you go, you are not allowed to bring food in and the food is a expensive so prepare to spend more or eat a lot before hand and just prepare to eat later than normal if you don't want to spend. It is a good time though, with lots of lounge chairs around and shade here and there. more

Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park 10/21/2005

Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park is the nicest and best place to go during summer. There are so many cool and adventure sliders. The adult fee is not expensive, around $32. There are so many events at this place not only for swimming. This place also good for tourists since some parts of Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park obtain Hawaiian style. Therefore, you can have fun in Hawaiian style. more

Average water fun park, but expensive 10/18/2005

Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park is located at the west end of the H1 freeway, about 25 miles from Waikiki. These are some rides that available in this park. 1) Volcano Express - My favorite 2) Waianae Coaster - My favorite 3) Flyin' Hawaiian 4) Shaka 5) Kapolei Cooler 6) The Big Kahuna 7) Cliffhanger - My favorite - Feel like you really falling! 8) Surfsliders Admission fee is pricey (around $34.99 for adult), even the local's price is stil expensive. I would recommend you to find a discount coupon from tourist magazines (This Week Oahu, Oahu Gold, etc.) before you go. The food inside is expensive. If you can grab something before you get in that would be the best to save your money! There is plenty of free parking (maybe because of its expesive admission fee..nobody want to pay that high for waterpark) If you don't have car, you can take the Bus no.40 or 40A to go there. it probably takes around 1 1/2 hours to get there (not including the waiting time). Their staffs are really friendly and helpful. Overall, Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park is good for the family and group of friends that want to find other activities to have fun rather than going to beach. of course, it is the fun that come with high price. more

#1 Family Attraction 9/18/2005

Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park is probably the #1 family attraction in Hawaii. This 25-acre park has miles of rides, slides and thrill rides. They are located off the highway past the Waikele Shopping Center. You will see the park on your right if you stay on the freeway on your way to Ko Olina. The prices are very high but you can get discounts through coupons in the newspapers or from other retailers. This is a great place to bring your family if you like water parks. more

Great Water Park 9/6/2005

I like this water park because they have a good number of water slides and new rides. My niece always has a wonderful time at this park. The prices are rather high but I guess that is the norm with water parks. Once in a while you can get a coupon from a restaurant or supermarket to get a discount for admission. more

Theme Park in Hawaii 8/31/2005

Hawaiian Water Adventure Park is the best place to enjoy your summer. There are so many great fun options for you to get wet and excited. The location is quit far from Downtown and Waikiki. Accordingly, it would be good to spend most of your day here (if you live in opposite side or for tourist from outside Oahu). An admission fee is about $32 per person. more

Pretty good water park 8/20/2005

This place is a good place to go and it’s fun for the kids. They have all sorts of water slides and pools. There is even a playground with water cannons and ropes to climb on. There’s also a lazy river; pool that simulates waves; and a shaka ride that looks like a skate board ramp where you ride down on an inner tube. more

Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park 8/16/2005

I have been there a few times and all times I really enjoyed myself. I have two children both under 10 and they have rides for all ages to enjoy. You pay one admissions fee and you may enjoy unlimited rides. To make the most of my money I go as soon as they open and stay until closing. more

Hawaiian Waters 8/10/2005

I have only been to Hawaiian Waters one time and I am not actually very found of water park rides. However, I was pleased that I was able to enjoy my day at the waterpark just as much as my friends and their kids. This park has a lot to offer for any age. It was a lot of fun to watch people on the various rides. The food at the snack shops is actually worth the price which is not something common at theme parks. more

good family fun 8/4/2005

This is Hawaii’s only water park, and it’s a pretty decent one. It’s located in Kapolei, which is quite far from town, but it’s still a nice place to spend a day – safe, clean family fun. General admission is about $35, which, imo, is rather pricey. However, it has many water slides and pools and other activities, and a day can be satisfyingly and easily spent here. Sometimes the lines are rather long and it can get rather crowded. Also, the fun wears off after repeat visits, but you should definitely visit at least once. more

Great Day of Water Fun 7/10/2005

The water park is a great full day activity for the whole family. There are a couple very daring rides like the "Shaka" and the "Cliff Hanger" and there is a keiki pool and a new surfing ride. The food is pretty good, and they do great birthday parties too. It is pretty expensive, about $30 for adults, but there are always discount coupons floating around. Try to go on a school day & you will have the place to yourself. On windy days it can get chilly, so bring a sweatshirt for warming up if needed. more
