The most expensive labor in L.A. 3/1/2012

I was using Harry's for a year but i think they changed their price policy. Today i was there because of some minor problems, i wanted to get them fixed before i sell my car. They charged me $100 for putting a screw on bumper, $75 for putting another screw on muffler pipe and $25 fixing gas handler. Last time i went there, they told me that they wouldnt charge me anything for the bumper, so today i just left my car without asking how much it would cost because i thought it wouldnt cost more than 50-60 bucks, yet instead of screwing the bumper, they screwed me. Quality Automotive Repair 2/12/2012

Is it true that Harry?s Auto Collision Center located at 1154 North La Brea Avenue in W. Hollywood is a first rate operation? Yes, it is in every respect! The owners Harry and Chris and the repair technicians are extremely good at what they do. We had the unpleasant experience of a traffic accident during a week day commute. Fortunately, after the dusk settled our 96 Honda Civic was drivable and able to make it home. After contacting our auto insurance company, we searched the internet for a repair shop and were influenced by customer comments, both good and bad. Our choice of this particular Harry?s Auto Collision Repair turned out to be the right choice. They not only expertly repaired the front end damage from the accident but in addition they repaired defects that were visible from age, wear and tear. We were pleasantly surprised when presented with a shiny; good looking 96 Honda Civic. My wife was speechless, I was elated. Oil Change 9/24/2011

Just came in here to get my oil changed. The team was great, it only took them about 20 to 30 mins and the price was good. The best part is that they filled up the oil with the expensive stuff instead for the regular price since it was my first time going there. more

Rotors Replaced 7/14/2011

I went in for brake pad replacement and they found that I needed to replace the rotors. I believe the previous place I got my brakes done might have screwed them up. more

BEST ON THE BLOCK 3/19/2011

I brought my 2009 Lexus in to get a crushed bumper repaired. My dealer had recommended the other Harry's down on south La Brea near Olympic (please take note that this Harry's is on La Brea between Fountain and Santa Monica). The other Harry's can boast a high-end waiting room but this Harry provides exceptional service. I needed the cost of the repair to be slightly reduced so that my insurance would cover it and they adjusted the price without hesitation. I took the car in on Monday and they had it repaired and ready for me on Thursday -- a full day ahead of schedule. The work was beautiful. Chris took care of me. I met Harry as well. They're both really good guys. And incredibly honest -- a rarity in the world of auto repair. if you need a rental while your car is being repaired, they have a good deal with Enterprise Rental Cars who will come over and pick you up. Some fancy types might think that the waiting area is a bit funky but who cares -- it's a body shop! I wouldn't hesitate to go back. more

My Lexus Looks Perfect After Accident 8/1/2010

I would definitely trust my Lexus being fixed here again by Harry and Chris. They take such pride in their work. Aside from being a Geico-affiliated shop (I've had Geico for 20 years), Harry was very kind. I also saw a bunch of Mercedes and Audis there for servicing as well. While there, I also asked to have some additional pings/scratches on my doors fixed (done under a separate invoice for a few hundred) and it turned out great. Repainted a total of three doors (one was the accident plus body work on the door) and it looks brand new. It was shining and vacuumed inside when I picked it up. Couldn't be happier with the body work and it was ready by the day estimated. They work with Enterprise and can arrange for a pick up to rent a car very easily. And Enterprise was great too (the one on LaBrea a few blocks south of Target) Pros: Location, Enterprise rental pick up, work quality Cons: Small lot. May need to park on street for drop off/pick up more

Attention, honesty, and good work 2/15/2010

I love this place! Years ago they replaced my brake pads, and I have had enjoyable visits to Harry's and to the property for my smog check as well, so I came back to the a few weeks ago ? and again was very happy with the result. Harry and his staff were excellent from moment one. When my old garage, Town Tire, closed up shop I had no idea where/how to look for a new one. I called several places when I needed new breaks and out of ten garages interviewed, I picked Harry's. His team was courteous, professional and efficient. They made an appointment (and KEPT it)! They finished on time and at exactly the cost estimated. In the heart of Hollywood they could not be more convenient. They are a hidden gem amidst the hustle and bustle at La Brea and Lexington and I am delighted with the work they did for me. I would make an unqualified recommendation for this garage - and their services are comprehensive - everything from oil changes, brakes, and transmission repairs, to collision work and beautiful paint jobs. Great Place for High Quality Repair Work and Service 1/2/2010

I am a very picky person especially when I deal with my car. I went to Harry's Automotive and Collision Center to repair my car?s front fender which was damaged. I talked to Chris and he gave me detail information about repair, and offered me very reasonable price. At the time they were very busy and their shop was full of other cars, but he took care of my car very fast. Chris and Harry are professional and they know how to deal with people. Most important factors to me are their quality repair work and excellent paint match. I know it wasn?t easy to match the paint (Other body shops offered me to paint the door and hood in order to match the paint with fender), but they did match it, and nobody can even tell that the fender is painted now. I really recommend this place for high quality work and professional service. I will definitely go there for other car services. Pros: Excellent Quality Work and On Time Cons: None more

washed out my filter and sold it back to me 1/1/2010

Chris and Harry diagnosed my car as having a clogged fuel filter and charge me $200.00 to put in a new one. But the only thing they did was wash out the old one in the sink and sell it back to me . They also took my handicap parking permit out of my car and used it in their own vehicle for the week my car was there. Harry returned my car to me without my permit...I had to ask for it back... I brought my car in for body and mechanical work. They really worked with me to make the repairs affordable and delivered quality work. Harry's Automotive was the best places I found who could get me a free quote and all the information I needed right away. I own a Audi TT sports coupe and it needed a new special order, custom made window due to a break in. Harry's went above and beyond to get my TT back on her feet and me back on the street, they even cleaned the floors and the seats.
