Gravity Music Gear

Wow, times have changed. I had been doing biz with Gravity for a lot of years. Lately, they have what appears to be an entirely new staff. It is not good or honest business when one calls ahead of time, asks if the biz to be done is doable, only to get there (a HUGE waste of time & money over distances here in Colorado) and get an entirely different story. I no longer feel welcome, I no longer feel that I am being treated fairly and I certainly do not feel at all comfortable dealing with lizard-lidded types that seem to be looking at their customer through invisible readers (down their nose). I actually, finally got a better deal at Guitar Center!! This is no pawn shop; you can now get as good if not a better deal at any pawn shop, fact. So, I'm guessing their business plan is obsolescence? Just don't. Unless you have an real need to wade into a bad day. more

Bought a guitar and an amp, two separate times, on eBay. Both times, the item was not as described. Customer service refused to take the items back or provide any type of compensation. Buyer beware more

Sent wrong item, never made it right. Asked me to pay them directly so I had no recourse. This place is a huge scam--there are hundreds of people just like me that have been screwed by this shabby business. They are not registered with the Better Business Bureau. Check their eBay feedback as well.. They have 99% from selling strings and such, but they have hundreds of negative feedbacks from others who have been screwed. STAY FAR AWAY more

I had a bad experience with Gravity Music Gear. Brad and Chris, both managers, both verbally insulted me and sent me a defective item. They were not willing to do ANYTHING to correct the error. Guitar had a broken truss rod and they didn't think to mention it! TERRIBLE place to shop for gear. more

Wow, what a mess. These folks shipped an already damaged guitar in a case, with no padding. When the guitar arrived, a 9 volt battery was flying around within the guitar, which caused several huge splits in the guitar. I was offered a $100 partial refund. After three days, a manager named Chris emailed me and requested that I send the guitar back for a full refund so they could repair it and sell it again. Mind you, this is three days after the $100 refund was promised. In the meantime, I had taken the guitar to my luthier (an hour drive each way). When I told Gravity this, they insisted I send the guitar back anyway... which was obviously IMPOSSIBLE. Every employee I spoke to, on the phone and online, was rude and insulting to speak to. I should also mentioned that they requested that I pay them directly via credit card, not through eBay, so they could save some money in fees. This prevented me from having any recourse when they decided to be unethical and went back on their word. WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A GUITAR SHOP EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I went into this shop the other day to buy a used tube amp, and it was in great shape. They were very nice and helpful. That guy rich is cool! They just remodled, looks great! Doesn't smell bad in there anymore. Has that nice new carpet smell. more

Are you kidding me? This is best place to buy or sell gear to. They have been my favorite seller on eBay for almost 5 years. I've never had a problem with them, look at their feedback for starters. Over 99% positive, I'd say that's pretty good. The people who post negative comments like this about a business are sad, pathetic, and weak individuals. I'll always back Gravity! You guys rock! more

I purchased a stompbox from Gravity on E Bay. They asked for an address and not a P O Box so as to use Fed Ex. I called. They were completely professional, friendly, and appropriate. O K! I got my stompbox, and it works just fine! It came very well packaged. I think some of these other customers have issues! more

I had a guitar I was trying to sell on Craigslist for a few weeks and decided to call these guys because I heard godd things about them from a buddy. Super fair and paid me $10 less than what I wanted for it on Craigslist and I didnt have to put up with any B.S. Thanks guys....oh and they paid me cash!!!! :) more

I just purchased a great ""pawn shop crap"" Stella guitar from Gravity. The guitar was a sentimental purchase as it was identical to the one I got in High School. Gravity did a great job in communication, lightning shipping, perfect packaging in a new guitar box using recycled packaging.............and they restrung the guitar for me as a surprise bonus. I think that the ""low raters"" of some of these reviews are truly low raters. Thanks a bunch Gravity more

Bought gear though Ebay, came dented and partially defective. Seller Mike denies everything, was rude on the phone!!! I had to involve Ebay to get partial refund, even then they didnt act as promised and had to involve Ebay again to get the agreed refund. Never again! more

You get great deals here. I've had nothing but positive interactions with this store. I've bought 8 items from them online. All but one came exactly as described. The one item that did have an issue was well handled by their staff. I gave them a call and my problem was solved within 24 hours. They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.
