Grand Cleaners

I've been going to this cleaner for over 15 years and today was the last straw! This cleaner has lost a dress that has never been recovered and now, I've just been excused of lying about a dress that I brought in to get cleaned a few weeks back and it wasn't cleaned! The owner, Minnie or Winnie, whatever her name is said that I didn't bring the dress there and she doesn't have any record of me bringing it in to be cleaned! This was absolutely outrageous considering she never reimbursed me or credited me for losing a dress about a year ago and now she essentially was accusing me of being a liar! I was a loyal customer up until today and will NEVER step foot in her shop again and I will make it a point to tell any new tenants in my building to steer clear of Grand Cleaners! more

I just moved to the West Village. I spend about $60 - $80 month on dry cleaning - simple stuff suits, shirts... I brought three brand new - never washed shirts into Grand to give them a try. By brand new, I literally mean I unpacked them from the Charles Trywhitt bag at Grand. When I returned, each of the shirts had the exact same stain on the front of the collar. Brown, rust looking, like it had dripped from somewhere during the cleaning process. The Asian woman referred to by ""Rachel"" could not have cared less. She wouldn't look at the stains, would not refund my $7.50, and made fun of me for being stupid. The conversation ended with her saying ""f*ck you"" over and over. I've never posted anything online about any dining experience or any service I've received, but this was just too bad to ignore. STAY AWAY!!! Cons: Horrible Horrible Service, quality, and value more
