A positive experience 6/2/2011

I didn't order in the store, I ordered on-line. I ordered an extra long twin, and though it mentions possibly not being able to get some beds in the room, I didn't think it pertained to me -- well, it did. I called your 800 number, was given my options, and am now having the bed cut. It cost me more, but it was my mistake, and I was very thankful not to hear "Oh well, you'll just have to order another one then, and find someone to take the first one." Which, believe me, is a common attitude now. So all in all, I had a positive experience. more

The furniture arrived in perfect condition 5/25/2011

The service here was very accommodating. I had been caught in severe traffic on the way to pick up a few pieces of furniture and arrived after closing. The manager was kind enough to get my furniture and even offered to help me carry them. The furniture itself, two chairs and a center table, were ready on time as promised and in perfect condition. more

You can't beat the price 5/20/2011

Some of the furniture is traditional in a non-stylish way, but some of the other stuff is perfectly simple, and a lot of the pieces bear in mind the cramped space within a NYC apartment (like the platform bed with the optional fitting drawers). I've had an unfinished bookcase for at least three years now and it's fine (meant to paint it myself but haven't as yet gotten around to it). For furniture that is solidly built you can't beat the price. more

I love the fold out table 4/28/2011

Ordering was easy. The people I spoke to on the phone were great. The delivery guy was the best I've ever had. Wish he delivered all my stuff. He carried up the table 3 flights of stairs, took it out of box put it together and took the box away all with a smile. THE best!! Plus I love the fold out table with the chairs inside - a must have for NYC living!! more

Really helpful sales people, and all of my furniture was delivered in 2 weeks. A team of delivery men came and assembled everything in about 10 minutes. Really great quality stuff, for not that much more than Ikea. more

I've gotten most of my furniture at various Gothic Cabinet Crafts stores over the years, but want to single out this store for their service. When I had a problem with my newly-bought futon (because I had been up all night the night before and didn't remember how to return it to the sofa position), one of the staff came over and showed me how to do it again. If I need furniture, my first action is to see if Gothic has it. more
