This company was referred to me by Spencer's(come to find out later, they are owned by Spencer's--go figure). The tech came out to fix my washer and after several minutes of ""prying"" at my machine trying to figure out how it came apart, he gave up and said that it needed a transmission(without even pulling it apart). The tech quoted me $300 to repair it and charged me $100 for the service charge. To make a very long story short, I had my handyman look at the machine and he knew right off that it was not the transmission. As it turns out, my washer just needed a $10 part inside the agitator. My handyman charged me $85 for the total fix. After contacting both the service manager at Goldwing and Spencer's, nothing was resolved. I was told that their tech was factory trained and he made a correct diagnosis---what a joke!!!! Lesson learned. Just check their ""unsatisfactory"" record with the BBB---6 unresolved complaints??!!! How can they continue to operate with such poor business practices? Better luck to the rest of you.
Cons: Lack of knowledge, misdiagnosed problem, expensive, unfair practices
