Golden Hand Moving & Storage

Although Kyle and Marwan (sp?) were friendly and nice, the service was marginal. They showed up over an hour late and it appeared that they were not working quickly because they were being paid by the hour. They told us it would take one load and it ended up taking two. RESPONSE FROM Golden Hand Moving and Storage: we take pride in every move that we do and we count on our referrals for future business. we received this particular job from a broker that they booked it initially with so we have to go by their term. we usually have 2 hours window for the moving time. we always try notify our customer if our guys are late since they can held up in another job prior to that, so it's out of our control. more

They did not give us fees for the move before arriving, we paid 3 times what our quote was. ONLY one guy showed up to move us and we had to help or it would have taken well into the evening. The same thing happened when the furniture was delivered to the new place. The same guy showed up to move it in at 6:30 am no call like he was suppose to. When there was a dispute over the charges he took off and we almost had to call the police. Finally after contacting the owner he came back. It did not take as long to lnload. He did not follow the check off list with our belonging. A few items we never recieved back and a few were broken. I realized breakage may occure but the rest of the nighmare was because the company scams which is why they want cash to deliver. It was such a nightmare we just wanted it over and took out losses.. karma golden hand :) more

Jennine quoted as 109 for 3 people for our 3BR town . one of the office manager came over and gave us free Estimate which was great. The movers came on time and gave us a great service. They gave us a great service. The worker were very fast and efficiant. They also helped us pack all our belonging and did that in such efficient way. I would recommend them to anybody. I decided to use Golden Hand Moving because I was looking for a reliable company. I checked out Golden Hand's website. They were insured and it seemed that they had been in the business for a while. My overall experience with them was good. When I first called the phone number on their site, I talked to someone who took my information about the move and had the company call me back. I also had to give a down payment to the person on the phone. The move itself went smoothly. The crew was reliable and careful with my furniture. They also were hardworking. They did not take very many breaks. more

I am so disappointed and dismayed frankly at the complete misrepresentation of fees and costs for this company. I was abused verbally over the phone by the owner/manager and ended up paying twice what was quoted. This was the WORST experience I have ever had in my lifetime regarding professionalism, honesty and respect with and for the customer. I absolutely will NEVER recommend Golden Hands to anyone. This is not a legitimate moving company though they will try to convince you otherwise. Under no circumstance give them your credit card or any other personal information unless you like being ripped off. The owner is a scam artist. Pros: they are the worst! Cons: unauthorized credit card charges and possible identity theft more
