The amount I was given fo my old junk gold has had me coming back for 2 years now. I had a great experience shopping at gold and diamond source. I found the selection of jewelry to be the best in the area, the selection of mens watches and diamond tennis bracelets were also one of the best i have seen. The prices were either in line or better than the competitor. But the customer service at gold and diamond is what sold me in the end, the girl that helped me could not have been more helpful. She was patient and highly educated and ultimately helped me make the final decision in the end, which was the best decision I could have made. My husband and I will be celebrating our 15 year Anniversary this May. He has promised an upgrade. YAY!! I would like to share with you the reason we will be going back to Gold & Diamond Source for a new ring (besides being local which is VERY important). When I was younger (10ish years old), I vividly remember visiting G&D S near University Mall in Tampa with my dad. He picked out a new ring for my mom. A jewelry box disguised as a red ornament was given to my dad to place the ring in for my mom on the Christmas Tree. I remember feeling excited for my mom, knowing what was in the ""ornament."" I remember the anticipation of her looking for for her present that Christmas morning. She was surprised and we were so happy for her. I also remember another Christmas where my dad wrapped another piece of jewelry from G&D S in a small box that was placed in another box that was placed in another box and then so forth until there were many boxes inside a huge microwave box. (This was in the the 1980's). She was thrilled and a little tired of unwrapping. Unfortunately their marriage did not last but the memories will. SUPER SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED!!! WON a chance to buy a $5000 LOOSE DIAMOND for $1000 in a contest 6 years ago. Need some cash, took it and reciept showing $4000 discount to another store for appraisal. \r \r Was told that the diamond (IS in exceptionally GREAT condition, but) is ONLY VALUED AT $1140 according to the 'BOOKS"" and ""NUMBERS"". The Appraiser stated that IF THEY WERE SELLING this particular diamond, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LISTED FOR ABOUT $2200!!!! \r \r THEY HAD IT LISTED AT $4999 THEN YOU HAVE TO PAY THE TAXES TOO. REEEEAAAALLLLY??? This store has the best customer service of any jewelry store I have ever been in. And I have been in a lot. My latest trip took me in for a makeup gift for my girlfriend and I had absolutely no idea what to get her to say I was sorry. The salesgirl listened to my dilemma and then showed me a gorgeous bracelet that I purchased immediately. She even wrapped it in beautiful paper and attached a bow. You should have seen my girlfriends face when I walked in the door holding that present. She loves the bracelet and I hasnt taken it off since I gave it to her last week. It was the best makeup gift ever, Im sure I will return. more

I had alot of old gold just laying around and I kept hearing those Gold & Diamond commercials on TV about turning old gold into cash. So last week, when it was raining and I was in a cleaning mood, I decided to gather all my old gold up and take it in, just to see what it was worth. Boy, am I glad I did, that old stuff turned out to be worth almost a $1000. The entire process was quick and professional and I got my money just like they said I would, right there on the spot. This place is a gem. I was looking for something uniquely special for my loved one for our 10th wedding anniversary, without the impersonal, assembly line feeling found in most department/jewelry stores. The staff is very knowledgeable and helped me find a classic piece that my wife absolutely fell in love with. All I needed to do was give some brief descriptions of what I wanted, and they took care of the rest. They even took the time to find the perfect set of matching earrings which I will buy next year. went here after seeing their commercials it is all lies they do not offer anywhere near fair prices for gold or diamonds their offer was so low it was insulting they didn't even take the diamonds into account when making an offer on a 2002 gia certified diamond ring with an appraised value of $2 270.00 their offer was $137.00 seeing that gold has quadrupled since the appraisal all I could do was walk out they are THIEVES my suggestion is you stay as far away from them as possible more

After a referral from a friend I drove from Sarasota to The Gold and Diamond Source in Clearwater. Julie Weintraub and Mais were a pleasure to work with. They showed me multiple ring options along with several diamonds. They even used a marker to help me visualize what the ring would look like with Emeralds on the side instead of diamonds.. They replaced the side diamonds with Emeralds for me, which I couldn't get other jewelers to do. This was at no additional cost to me. The ring looks absolutely amazing!!! I proposed on Friday night and my fiance was speechless. We couldn't be happier with the ring and the service provided. I highly recommend The Gold and Diamond Source. We will be returning for our bands before the wedding. more

I just drove from Orlando to Clearwater to come to Gold & Diamond Source to sell some old gold I had laying around. I was apprehensive about the entire process plus the long drive, but having seen the commercials I decided to give it a whirl. When I got to Gold & Diamond Source one other person was in line and he was telling me what an excellent experience he had and that his mom had actually used the envelope to mail in her gold and, like clockwork, was given a hefty check in return. Next time I will mail my gold even though this was definately worth the trip. Gold & Diamond Source has the entire process figured out, they were professional and patient and I feel like I got a great deal. Selling my gold to Gold & Diamond was definately a good decision. more
