Was told that the diamond (IS in exceptionally GREAT condition, but) is ONLY VALUED AT $1140 according to the 'BOOKS"" and ""NUMBERS"". The Appraiser stated that IF THEY WERE SELLING this particular diamond, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LISTED FOR ABOUT $2200!!!! \r

THEY HAD IT LISTED AT $4999 THEN YOU HAVE TO PAY THE TAXES TOO. REEEEAAAALLLLY??? THIS IS WHY I HATE TO BUY JEWELRY.\r

EVEN THE CONTEST DIAMOND WAS LISTED AT DOUBLE WHAT A COMPETITOR WOULD SELL IT FOR. \r

MY QUESTION IS: Since G&DS, says they will trade it in for the FULL PRICE on the PURCHASE OF SOMETHING ELSE, WILL I GET $4999 (WHAT IT WAS LISTED AT), OR JUST THE $1000 I PAID (thereby LOSING THE $140 of the VALUE???).\r
