Best

I went to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood prince at the RTC Gold Class Cinemas. I got free voucher from a promotion from Starbucks Gold cards. They treat you very well here ...

Worst

While the service was top notch and the beers were huge. The food was not very good or special for the price you pay. I am so glad we had a coupon for 50% off and went on 1/2 pric...

Much better than we expected 6/17/2011

Our Son and Daughter in law gave us a gift card for our birthday. After reading the reviews, we were expecting poor service and not too much value in the food menu. To our surprise, the server was very friendly and attentive. There were two bags of popcorn and two glasses of Ice water at our table waiting for us.The menu prices were average and the portons were good. We ordered the fish and chips $13.00, and the Ale battered chicken $13.00. My husband also had a shrimp cocktail $8.00. The food was tasty and the fries were hot, and came in a cute little mesh basket that looked like a small fryer basket. The seats were very comfortable, there was a pillow and blanket available in the arm rest. We thoroughly enjoyed our movie 'date night'. Gold Coast was bought out by ipic cinemas, so I don't know if that is why the experience was better than the other reviews. The staff was very friendly and the theater was nicely decorated and very clean. If you are looking for a special evening, I would recommend giving this a try. more

Great idea but bad service and horrible food 9/9/2010

I love the idea of this place and I really want to like it. The seats are very comfortable and I love the setup of the theater. The tickets have gone up and I don't think in this economy I can justify spending $27 just to watch a movie. more

Not worth it 5/18/2010

While the service was top notch and the beers were huge. The food was not very good or special for the price you pay. I am so glad we had a coupon for 50% off and went on 1/2 price tuesday for food, because I would have been TOTALLY disappointed if we had spent $110 for 2 people. Pros: The service, the huge beer Cons: The lighting, the food more

A good movie/date night 5/8/2010

We decided to try Gold Class Cinemas for the first time a week ago. By becoming members (for free) the tickets were $22 each, which is basically double a normal theater. Pros: Great seats, decent food Cons: A bit expensive more

Horrible service, Overpriced, Soso food! 3/28/2010

I have given gold class many chances to improve on food quality and service because the atmosphere and theaters are so nice. On our recent visit, I was treating my family of 5. We arrived more than an hour early for the movie to enjoy appetizers, cocktails and wine before the movie. Our server disappeared after delivering appetizers & drinks so we had to go find our own napkins, again to get refills and on and on. Finally we found him and said we would like to order our dinner for in the movie. He said he would be back in 5 min to take our order and take us in. 20 min later another server came over and said you look like you were abandoned, I don't know were he is but I will take your order. She did, but we had to find our movie and seats on our own. Once the movie started, everyone around us got their food but us. So an nearly an hour into the movie I went to talk to the mangager to ask why we didn't get ours. We finally got it a near the end of the movie. The dirty dishes sat in front of everyone the entire movie. Afterwards, they were not going to take the coupons we bought on restaurant com. We still spent $350 after the coupon discount. They automatically added $50 in tips for horrible service. I will never return. Go to cinebarre for 1/3 the price with better food and excellent service! Pros: Seats and bathroom Cons: Bad service with added undeserved tip! Overpriced soso food more

Great moviegoing experience 12/28/2009

I have gone to this theatre twice now and the experience has been great. Pros - Very comfortable, relaxing, large, reclining chairs. Friendly and professional staff. Pillows and blankets. Complimentary cokes. The first time we went we reserved our seats in advance. The second time we arrived at the last minute and had to sit in the front row, but those were still great seats so it seems that there are no bad seats in the house. Cons - It is really expensive so if we go again it will only be for a special occasion. We had a voucher for a free appetizer so we each tried something but we probably wouldn't have anything to eat next time because the food just wasn't the greatest, especially for the prices they're charging. Overall - a great moviegoing experience, but really expensive. Pros: Seats, service Cons: Cost, food more

Not the greatest 3/8/2008

The theatre is kind of small and doesn't have stadium seating. It was also not very clean when we went which I noticed because the floors were sticky. I haven't been back since because Bella Botega is better. Pros: good location, movie selection, parking Cons: no stadium seating, cleanliness more

Ok theatre, disgusting bathroom 8/3/2006

This theatre is ok for viewing. Screens are small, sound average. What really irks me about the theatre is the absolutely disgusting men's bathroom. The stench from urine overwhelms me every time I use it. I avoid this theatre at all costs. Pros: Convenient location Cons: Cleanliness of theatre and bathrooms especially more

Poor Quality 1/15/2005

I agree with the other reviewer about the curved screens and lenses. My eyes felt distorted for the first few minutes of the movie, and for a few minutes after I got out. The image quality and sound weren't great, and there's no stadium seating, which really hurts visibility especially at this packed mall theater. Parking is good and the staff was pretty nice. Pros: Parking, Nice staff, Nearby shops Cons: , Sound quality, No Stadium Seating more

horrible! 2/6/2003

The Redmond Town Center Theatre is the worst theatre i have ever been to. The screens are curved, and dont have the right lens so they picture looks funny, the seating is horrible, the projection is horrible, the movies are all scratched, the staff is rude, the management, or should i say the lack of management, dont even try to fix any of this. I will always take my business to Bella Botega. It is a far better theatre, and is only half a mile away. Cons: Picture, Sound, staff more

Good theater 12/18/2002

Just saw SC2 here, nice theater. No too bad, not too good. If it's close go, if not, don't bother unless they are playing a movie that is sort of old and this is the closest theater. Pros: Plenty of parking, First-run Cons: Noisy area in evening more

Improving, good venue 12/15/2002

Staff improved the theater in the 2nd half of 2002 through better customer service. Prices are average with other theaters in the area. Theaters themselves are clean and comfortable and overall, its a good movie experience. Pros: lots of free parking, plenty to do waiting, dinner nearby Cons: new releases sell out more

Basic Suburban Multiplex 7/24/2002

Free parking is abundant, even on weekend evenings. The staff is courteous, and the prices are no worse than comparable chains. more
