Would NOT recommend! \r \r The salesman 6/4/2012

Would NOT recommend! \r \r The salesman pulled our credit and came back to us with a bogus, completely made-up number in the low 600s. When I questioned this, I was told that I was wrong and their number was accurate. We quickly went elsewhere and they pulled our credit (from the same credit bureau), and the correct number came up. We couldn't believe how close we came to being scammed! Thankfully, we knew our credit scores from all three agencies ahead of time and I highly recommend anyone considering going here (or anywhere) do the same. \r \r Interestingly enough, we didn't need financing as we were prepared to pay cash (and we did elsewhere). However, the insulting and roundabout games played by the salesmen here and at the dealer in Countryside were so appalling that I couldn't bring myself to purchase from either of them. Both dealerships and their snobby attitudes indepently gave Subaru a bad name for me, and I eagerly took my pay-in-full with cash purchase elsewhere.\r \r At the end of the day at both dealerships, we never saw the price of the vehicle in writing. We never saw an itemized statement/invoice with all taxes or fees documented. When they came to us with a bogus credit score that would ultimately affect our monthly payment they obviously were playing games to increase the price of the vehicle in the long run. This type of bad business is unethical and dishonest and I am happy to say that we will never buy from them. Buyer beware! more

Thinking of going there? 5/26/2012

If you are looking to buy any vehicle with them stay away from their salesmen get prices of vehicles online. Their salesmen are crooks/swindlers and do fraudulent deals. Especially if you’re already are approved by your bank to purchase, be careful NOT to provide any personal information to them. They will get your personal information through chit chat and tell you any lie to get your social security number for example to call your bank for the payout amount for a trade in. Once they get your information (verbally) they illegally hit your credit and send your information to several banks to apply for illegal loans. Before going to see their vehicles I checked Kelly Blue Book and should have not overseen their service rating of 2 out of 5 stars. Protect your credit, your identity, and the interest of your future loan by never going there. more

Good job 4/17/2012

Sandy Jackson is the internet sales manager and I have worked with her on and off over the past several months. She has always been helpful and respectful but never pushy. I ultimately went to Gerald Subaru Naperville because I did a huge web search and found they offered a fully-loaded 2011 Subaru Forester for well under the invoice price. After a test drive, I knew this was the car for me. The entire staff was consistently friendly and polite and we feel we got a great vehicle for a really good price. Thanks Sandy!!! more

Great customer service 3/30/2012

I was referred to John Smith by a family friend of mine. As soon as I met him he was like a friend I new for years. Very friendly and fun to talk with. Showed me all the different types of Optima's there was and showed me the one I was looking for. Went for a test drive even though I did not purchase that day. Came back a week later to purchase the car because of the enjoyable time that I had on my first visit. I will always recommend John to my family and friends that are looking to purchase a vehicle. more

Great Experience 3/21/2012

My experience with Gerald was great due in large part to my salesman Glenn Miller. His approach was unlike any other sales person I had encountered in my search for a new car. He did not try and oversell himself and his product he allowed me to look and drive the vehicle without the atypical sales banter. I more than appreciate that type of approach. My purchase was greatly influenced by Glenn due his respect for others.He wanted to do his best for me as a customer and he did. more
