We have been enjoying truly 'gourmet-grade' pizza at Fuzzy's on Antoine for well over a decade. Tonight we had our favorite-- Margherita on whole wheat. (You still can't beat it a...

I was shopping for a pizzaria to supply pizza for a company function. Based on the reviews, I'll take my business elsewhere.

HORRIBLE, LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! EVERYTHING IS OVERPRICED...EVEN THEIR WATER CUPS. 8/28/2008

I've been a loyal customer of Fuzzy's for over 6 years only due to the fact that the pizza is good. It's safe to say that our family eats at Fuzzy's 2-3 per month. WE ARE FAITHFUL PATRONS. I was repulsed by the experience that I recently had with the owners after asking for a styrofoam cup & lid for my 18-month old so he could drink his water out of the cup with a straw and avoid spilling it all over him and the floor. Before I could even get my request out of my mouth the owner was looking to charge me an additional $1.50 for a styrofoam cup and plastic lid for tap water. DISGUSTING. After letting the owners know that I was dissapointed that this is how they choose to treat regular customers, the owner threatened not to serve me. I said ok and asked for a refund of my money and left to take my family to Collina's just up the street. Over the years the wait staff has constantly turned over and the quality of the pizza has slipped. I have even witnessed an employee fed up with how things are run, walk out in the middle of food service. Not once during our 6-year patronage did the owner's ever thank us at the register or at the table for coming in and supporting their neighborhood business. WHAT A SHAME BECAUE THE PIZZA IS GOOD. The good news is Collina's has great pizza as well. The owner of Collina's came by our table to welcome us and even brought our kids breadsticks to tie them over while they were baking our pie. What a difference real customer service can make! more

Horrible Customer Service 8/15/2008

Terrible customer service. As I bought a Diet Coke, with an expiration date of the day before, the coke was tasteless, as in no coke taste, only carbonation. I asked for an exchange and was told NO as they shook the coke and saw fizz. I asked for a refund and was told to leave their establishment. Can you beleive they asked me to leave after paying $10.01 for a slice of pizza, a side salad, and a drink, and didn't get served? I was not rude, just matter of fact that I didn't feel comfortable to eat there and wanted a refund. I was told to take it up with Coca Cola since they sold Fuzzy's the drink...I said, "I am your customer and they are your vendor, you should handle that complaint, not me." And I left, hungry and amazed at such poor customer service! I lost $10.01 and won't go back to a Fuzzy's again, and have shared this story with many people! - Hungry in Houston! Pros: None Cons: Customer Service more

Wait times now exceed an hour. 5/15/2008

Its so very annoying to call in a to go order at 5:00 and be told it will be ready in 30 minutes, arrive at 5:30, and have to wait until 6:15. ESPECIALLY when the place is empty (5 tables had people). Then the pizza was slightly overcooked. Pros: Sometimes they will put out a great pizza. Cons: You might get it in 30 minutes or 75 minutes. Prices have gone way up. more

BEST VEGGIE PIZZA IN TOWN 4/19/2008

I've had just about every veggie pizza in Houston, and most of them are gross and soggy. At Fuzzy's, there's a really nice combination of vegetables (onion, pepper, mushroom, zucchini, and broccoli) on a delicious and thin wheat crust. I don't live anywhere near Fuzzy's on Antoine, but it's completely worth the 20 minute drive for me to order and pick up the pizza. more

Fast Service, Good Pizza 4/18/2008

I used to go to Fuzzy's during my hour lunch break. Although I sometimes had to cram food in my mouth to get back on time, the pizza was always great. This pizza joint was the most in demand pizza. Prices were very reasonable, and food was good. more

Fuzzy's Pizza is TERRIBLE (they used to be great)! 1/8/2008

A couple of months ago, I ordered a large, thick-crust Fuzzy's Special Pizza (at the Bellaire Store). The pizza is super thin ( < 1/8 inch) and very soggy toward the center. I showed it to the manager. He insisted that it is the way it supposed to be. Since I ordered the same pizza many times before, I don't believe manager's story. So I asked for the owner. The owner admitted that they used a small dough to make the large pizza. So he gave me $10.00 back for the $22.00 pizza. The SAME THING HAPPED AGAIN today. The owner is not in. The manager refused to take the pizza back. And the pizza tasted awful. How can they treat a loyal customer like this? I don't understand the business model. Cons: soggy wet pizza more

Worst dining experience of my life! 11/9/2007

I have always been a faithful Fuzzy fan until tonight. I have a family of 5 and paid $80 for two medium pizzas, 5 drinks and a salad. Fifteen minutes later, the high schooler waiting on me then explained that he had undercharged me and asked for $1.75 extra. I went to pay him and my child started to cry. Since I did not come back to pay immediately, Fuzzy's wife and the high schooler started yelling at me and telling me that I do not pay my bills. At the same time, Fuzzy was screaming at another man and telling him to get out or he will call the police. This is beyond bad service. I love their pizza but I will never be treated that way again Pros: good pizza Cons: owner screams and yells at customers more

Worst service in Houston 10/20/2007

Pizza isnt as good as it used to be. Skimping on quality. And the attitude of the staff is unbelieveable. Cant believe they think the way they treat customers is ok. My Fuzzy's days are over. Head to Candelaris. Pros: big TVs Cons: Service from staff and management more

Take Fuzzy's advice and go somewhere else for your pizza! 7/30/2006

Pizza Good-Service AWFUL 5/12/2006

I LOVED Fuzzy's Pizza! I first visited the Kirby location years ago and was hooked! I would drive out of my way for this pizza!! I visited the location on Antonie since I have moved to Spring, Texas and this is the closest location for me. OMG! The service is awful! I have since decided that I like Brother's Pizza alot and take my business there.. hey, the food is good and the guys are great! They even hand toss the crust and throw it in the air for effect at a few of the locations. Anyone, looking for good pizza and good customer service try Brother's Pizza. If you are just looking for good pizza and crappy service..try Fuzzy's Pros: Good Pizza Cons: Terrible Service, High Prices, Terrible Cust Service more

Bad Attitude 10/18/2005

I've been going to Fuzzy's for years. I started off at the Fondren location and then when I moved to downtown, I switched over to the Kirby location. I enjoyed the food and the staff was always friendly. When I started a new job near the Antonie location about 4 years ago, I started to hit that location for lunch about twice a month. The pizza was good and it was nice to see Bush Sr. there once in a while. I tried to overlook the fact that the staff has a bad attitude. But bad experience after bad experience, I just had to write a negative review for this restaurant. The attitude at this particular location is like "you're lucky to eat here, and we don't care how we treat you." I'm not sure why they act this way, but they really need an attitude adjustment. Pros: Food Cons: Staff more

Best Pizza ANYWHERE!! 6/3/2005

Fuzzys is without question the best pizza in Houston. My favorite thing on the menu is without question the breadsticks!! Fuzzy also has amazing pizza as well as one of the best chicken parmesans I have ever tasted. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait until the next time I come home so I can come back more

Uncaring Attitude --Goodbye Fuzzy's! 4/26/2005

After waiting a long time for our pizza, it came out burned on the bottom. Upon returning it for another, we were offered no apology or anything. We had to wait an additional 25 minutes for another one. We spoke to Fuzzy, the owner, who pretty much had the attitude that we were lucky to be able to eat there and should not have sweated the fact that we were served a burned pizza. It was obvious that he doesn't care whether we return or not. NOT!!! Cons: Poor Attitude, High Prices more

NEW POLICY: AWFUL 7/19/2004

IT IS UNBELIEVABLE TO ME THAT BUSINESS CAN BE THAT GOOD FOR FUZZIE THAT HE WOULD NOT ALLOW YOU TO CHOOSE TOPPINGS FOR HALF AND HALF. THE NEW POLICY, AS I WAS TOLD BY A MANAGER, IS THAT A PIZZA HAS TO BE THE SAME ALL OVER. YOU CAN NOT HAVE HALF CHEESE (FOR YOUR SON THAT ONLY EATS CHEESE) AND HALF JALAPENOS (FOR YOUR HUSBAND THAT LOVES HOT FOOD). I HAVE SEEN PICTURES ON THE WALL OF GEORGE BUSH - I WONDER WHAT FUZZIE WOULD SAY IF GEORGE SR. CALLED IN AND WANTED TO SPECIAL ORDER. GOOD PIZZA IS SUPPOSED TO BE OPTIONAL FOR FAMILIES WITH DIFFERENT TASTES IN TOPPINGS. WE WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN - EVER. I HOPE FUZZIE HAS A LOT OF MONEY IN THE BANK BECAUSE I CAN'T THINK OF ANY HOUSTONIAN THAT WILL APPRECIATE THIS NEW RULE - ESPECIALLY LOYAL CUSTOMERS. Pros: NOT MUCH ANYMORE Cons: , MANAGEMENT, MANAGEMENT more
