Superb Beer Selection 11/10/2010

I am a huge fan of Full Throttle Bottles. The staff is always very helpful, and the selection is outstanding. Full Throttle is right in the middle of Georgetown which is worth a visit on it's own, but Full Throttle fully rocks. They are not a bargain store. The price reflects the reality of being an independent merchant trying to provide people with a truly great selection of ales and lagers. So yes you will pay a little more than some places, but the selection and the staff make up for it. They not only have a great selection of beer from the standard import countries like Germany and Belgium, but all over Europe and the world. The US microbew selection is second to none in Seattle. I highly recommend Full Throttle to any serious beer lover or collector. more

Store for the beer lover. 2/27/2010

This beer/wine store in Georgetown has a lot of great hard to find beers for the beer lover in your life. Beer is sold by individual bottle, but can be purchased in larger quantities as needed. They even have an interesting variety of soda for the non alcohol drinker in your life. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and can assist you in picking out strange beers or sours or finding the beer you tried at that beer festival that one time. Some bottles can be pretty pricey but there is a large variety of single bottles in the 2$ range. They also have weekly tastings on Wednesday where for a set price you can sample whatever they have chosen for the week. There is also a helpful newsletter to keep you alerted of when your favorite beer might be coming. Pros: wide variety, helpful staff, tastings Cons: price more

Beer and Wine unites the world! 5/6/2008

There are no two ways about it, this place rocks! The staff is incredibly friendly and so helpful. I am just getting into beer, and they take the time to find out what you like, and make some amazing suggestions. The cider selection is incomparable (Scrumpy's and Ace Perry....yummmmmm) and I am consistently amazed by the quality of wines they keep in stock. They are always willing to take suggestions for beers and wines you would like to see, and the Bottlecap Club Card has helped me more than once! These go to eleven! Pros: Friendly service, great selection, fabulous prices Cons: None! more
